If I could give this place 0 stars, I WOULD. First and foremost, the cashier who took me and my spouse order was not giving good customer service at all. She was very inattentive and more so focused on her friends that worked in the back of her in the kitchen. Second, our order came out too quick and I knew for a fact something was wrong. She asked us did we need plastic ware and literally that was it, she didn’t ask if our food was ok or looked ok, and she also didn’t ask if we needed anything else which is not what a PROFESSIONAL waitress suppose to do! Once I tried my food, the beef tips was rubbery, chewy and most of all TOUGH, they weren’t even hot as well as the cold overcooked rice that was sitting next to it! My spouse bake potato was HARD as a rock and her chopped steak was burnt! She continued to eat hers because of course we both were starved and just wanted a nice, HOT, dinner in which we did NOT GET AT ALL!! But me on the other hand, I didn’t take another bite of anything because I was on the verge of vomiting. And I forgot to mention that we also order a side of shrimp that tasted spoiled and was also burnt! After experiencing how bad the food tasted and how the cook didn't put any effort to cook it properly, I decided that I needed to speak to the manager. Once our waiter came to the table after 15 to 20 minutes and trying to get her attention, she finally came and asked what was wrong, I proceeded to tell her and she advised that I would need to talk to the manager, I told him about how terrible the food was and he let me know that he would remove my meal and the shrimp. Read moreVery disappointing experience. I am new to the area and was headed to Golden Corral but this place caught my eye since I had not eaten at one in years. I thought they were long out of business! A quick glance at the reviews looked positive so I gave it a shot. The whole ordering system is confusing but that's just me. Newbie. I was going to get a steak but decided against it and went with the buffet. Maybe that was my mistake. The salad was not really cold and nothing at the buffet was very good except for maybe the pot roast. The rest was greasy, lukewarm and looked like it was sitting out for hours. Not appetizing. The desserts were not much better other than the chocolate chip cookies. Their cobblers, which are usually my favorite, were soupy and tired looking. From the grumbles I heard, the ice cream machine was broken. They didn't give me silverware until I asked and I had to keep asking for plates. At Golden Corral, these are all readily available. The tables were sticky and the carpeted floors were dirty. It needs a major overhaul and a reboot. My waiter tried and he kept my drink filled so I gave him a tip on the way out but that was about the only positive. Total price with drink and tip: $17. This place has nothing on the Golden Corral buffet especially with their cold salad, great steaks, pulled pork and ribs. For a few dollars more, you can feel a major difference in quality and taste. Read moreI went to the Western sizzlin steakhouse today with me and my father the waitress was very friendly and kind my only beef is I thought by the name Western sizzlin steakhouse I thought they would have been cooked on a char-grill but I was wrong they're cooked on a flat grill and that just isn't the same I could have swore they used to have a char-grill I was very disappointed in the flavor a steak on a flat grill just is it tender as juicy and flavorful as a char flavor and beware of your steak if you order the number nine make sure they don't bring you a steak that's fat on one end and skinny on the other end I order my medium which was perfect the other part of the state the way it was sliced was only a quarter inch thick and it was tough as leather I asked to speak to the manager he said he could not cut me off a piece of steak because it would throw off inventory but he did take off $6 the FYI make sure your steak is what you wanted.
