I stopped here today for the first time when I found myself with an hour that became free. The sign on the door said call if you don’t have an appointment, but since they had just opened, I walked in to check out the prices. They were able to take me right away. I chose the 60 minute foot and deep tissue massage. I’d say it was roughly 20min feet/40min back/shoulders/neck. They basically charge $1.10 per minute on most of their services. You aren’t paying for the atmosphere, but you’ll definitely get your money’s worth with your service. It’s basically an open space divided by curtains. I’d image if it was very busy it could get very loud since you can hear everything.
I had been up since 4am with a huge, painful knot in my shoulder and Duke’s deep tissue really broke it up. I have deep tissue massages often and he can really get into those knots, so be careful if you aren’t used to getting a deeper massage, ask them to go lighter. The only thing I was not used to was the first part of the massage there dad a sheet over my back. It was fine, but much better when removed.
For the price, you cannot beat this place! I definitely recommend it and look forward to...
Read moreI genuinely dont know how they have 5 stars. Im not a hater, I just really enjoy quality. The massage I received was not that. I've never had an eye mask put on me and been to a spa that had a foot soak. I enjoyed that part. But by the time we got to the massage, the hands of the gentleman felt inexperienced. He lacked pressure and when pressure was applied it hurt. Sometimes he even tickled me. I was in the midst of a couples massage. The person massaging my partner was seeing my discomfort and would ask out loud if the massage was okay to my partner in attempt to have my masseuse ask me if I was comfortable, and sometimes he asked, sometimes he didnt. It was so bad I asked to change the time from 90 mins to 60 mins. I love massages and as a New Yorker, this ain't my first rodeo (even though the lady massaging my partner asked if it was my first time). To compensate, I got a little gift baggie but they still strongly implied I should tip, even though I was...
Read moreI had an excellent experience at Hawaiian Foot Spa today. When I first walked in I took off my boots because it was so clean I didn't want to mess it up! The low, adjustable massage tables are very comfortable, so that was a good start. It got better. They started off soaking my feet and a face / head/ neck massage that sets the tone for the rest of the experience. Next was the foot massage that incorporated everything below my knees (be sure to wear pants that push up that high). Then they flipped me over for a back massage, which was full body compressions - completely out of this world and much needed! They have good intuition for what your body needs. I'd recommend a 60 or 90 minute session because they incorporate much more than feet. Both the owner and the gentleman who works there are extremely nice and the prices are very...
