Being a railroader, everything that I wear and use has to be rugged and long-lasting. The job I do is hard on everything from clothes to equipment. So when I saw that Duluth had a lunch box called the Food Truck, I had my wife get one. It was the largest lunchbox they had. I usually take my food (leftovers) with me to work to cut down on costs. Eating out all the time gets expensive. I can carry at least 3 to 4 meals with me just in case I get stuck in the hotel for long periods of time. Plus, the extra pockets came in handy for holding eating utensils and extra equipment for unexpected moments. It worked great until the pulls on the zippers snapped off, and the metal loops for the shoulder strap came apart. No Bueno. So Duluth has a "No Bull Guarantee" that says if parts fail on the bag not due to normal wear and tear, they will replace it free of charge. So, I called the Lee's Summit store first to see when I could bring it in for an exchange. Come to find out, they discontinued my bag and wouldn't honor the guarantee. Great. My next call was to Rogers, Arkansas, and talked to the store manager, Nicholas. Explained to him that my schedule was less than favorable, and he said to get to him when I could. That was 30 days ago. I visited him today, and he got me taken care of. He didn't have my exact bag but replaced it with one that was comparable. What a class act and a USMC veteran to boot. I highly recommend this store for the manager and the staff that runs it. When you visit, go shake Nicolas' hand and thank him for his service. You will be treated well. And to my military...
Read moreI have seen lots of Duluth Traifing Co. ads and looked forward to checking them out. The staff was friendly and there were lots of neat manly items to shop. I found a few soups I liked and purchased one. The price for the soap was not bad. The clothing- well.... they are definitely all in on the flex/ stretch material pants for men. I'm not a fan. While they are super comfortable at first after a few hours the elasticity is lost. (until washed) Your pants are stretched out and your seat feels like you're wearing a loose diaper or something. Duluth only had 3 pairs of jeans in a non-stretch material. They were super thick denim and looked like cheap jeans from the 80s. I wish they had jeans in a classic denim that looked trendy like they do in flex fit. The underwear and undershirts came in several material textures and styles. While $32.00 for a single undershirt or pair of skivvies may be worth it... I'm not that confident. Seems unlikely I would justify the cost. I could get 6 or 8 pair for that $ and I'm moderately happy with the current trowel. They had some on clearance for $13, i was willing to risk the 13 as a test, none in my size. I enjoyed the visit, clean store, clean bathroom, friendly staff and I am liking the soap, very manly. (Photo of...

Four store employees looked at us never said hi or do u need help finding anything, guess the conversation they was having was more important then helping a customer. Passed two more employees again never said anything to us. We turned around was walking back to front door and yet another employee walked past us and again nothing so much as a hi to wife and I. I'm very glad this happened for the simple fact very overpriced. Ty duluth staff cuz of how we was treated went to another store and item I was looking for was $30 cheaper and a better quality!! Stay away everyone better stores in area and not overpriced and they know how to greet a customer and make them feel welcomed.
