Love love love this antique store! Being a Black Lab/Flat coated Retriever Mommie, I suppose I am just a tad partial to so much of the decor! Very interesting and eclectic mix of true vintage and antique pieces. The owner, Joyce seemed to be a very lovely person and we really enjoyed visiting with her awhile. Being fellow dog lovers, (as well as dog sitters in the Rome area), we instantly discovered our common interests and that made it so much fun sharing our mutual love of dogs and stories surrounding them. We even learned about the inspiration for her logo, the dog named "Maggie May", and even how she came about naming her store! Beautiful store run by a beautiful person! Can't wait to come back again soon and hopefully decide upon a vintage piece to include in our own home decor. She even offers layaway and has delivery options available. There are many decor items as well as jewelry and a few functional items like wine bottles openers and embellished knives. There is a taxidermied mallard up there I may go back for, but it kinda feels like I'm cheating if it's not one I shot. I gotta make my mind up on that. The older gentleman behind the counter was rude. He refused to reach out to the seller to negotiate the price because he determined that it was too low of an offer.
