Kroger — Local services in Rome

Parts of the store are under construction. Murray’s cheese has been removed with no indication what is replacing it. But the real kicker today was that the store was extremely busy and they only had one manned checkout. The rest were self checkout machines. The self checkout machine malfunctioned and the young black woman who was supposed to be helping those self checkout machines first accused me of trying to steal a quart of sour cream. I said no, I’m trying to scan it and the machine has an error. I asked her to please help. She said “no I’m not going to”. I then left to go get assistance at customer service. She then had the nerve to holler “you need to calm down” as I was leaving. The man who had a name tag with “Andre Front End Supervisor” was very rude and irritated that I was requesting assistance. I said “are you not in charge of the front end?” He said yes. I told him I often have issues with their self checkout machines and today I wish to have assistance. He was very reluctant to do so and it was only after I said “then I’ll leave it all here and go to Publix” that he grudgingly began to check out my groceries. He said “you are the only person ever having issues with our self checkout machines”. This encounter with these two incredibly unhelpful and rude Kroger employees is the last straw. No more shopping for my family at this Kroger. Shockingly terrible...

Absolutely the best rotisserie chicken in town. Could do better on their selection of dinner rolls. What happened to colonial dinner rolls that come in a foil pan? You don't even have the plain dinner rolls anymore. Spoiler alert, uncut slider buns are not dinner rolls. Heritage Fare Buffalo Style Chicken Wing Sauce is also no longer on the shelf and it's clearly the most popular product because I bought the last one 2 weeks ago. It's the choice sauce not only for the flavor, but for its significantly lower sodium content as opposed to all other sauces. These are 2 of your exclusive products that people come to your store for. I'm not going to buy any other buffalo sauces no matter how many you stock because they are all nasty. Your selection of canned vegetables is also dwindling. One more thing, breakfast. Kroger used to be THE place to get a breakfast plate. Why did you stop? You sold out every day. Oh and one more thing for the people who commented on this thread regarding punerious people shopping here, I am one of those poverty stricken people, so you can smell my a**, literally, and learn to enjoy it, because I'm certainly not obligated to live by...

I'm happy they sell Ronzini however unhappy they didn't have a decent verity. Very upset they didn't have pastina instead had to settle for orzo which is a different shape and chokes little ones gets stuck in adults back throats too. There's a reason Italians create different pastas.. Get used to Italian people moving here with the Hundai plant opening and jobs. Start selling decent pasta brands Ronzini and tutorusso plum,crushed,sauce,paste,diced. Carry pollyo mozzarella squares,pearls shredded and ricotta cheese in huge one I think 24 oz not the mini or medium because when they cook they cook for enough for whole family to eat and take home. Irish are moving down too so have Kelly Irish soda bread, Murphy's corned beef, Kerry gold cheese. Bailey's in liquor area and more Italian wines not the cheap stuff good Italian wines both red and white cause we cook with it. Sell Taylor pork roll both box of 6 slices, big roll in the burlap bag. Sell pizza dough, canoli shells in box and pastry shells in freezer and out. Sell real Italian bread French bread is not Italian quit printing Italian on French bread. Learn...
