T.J. Maxx — Local services in Rome

Oct. 2019 I use to love this place. From clothes to home decor. It was my go to place to take a fun shopping trip and I have decorated my house with sooo much. The clothes use to be great also. Back with Cynthia Rowley clothes and decor line was there. I just never find clothes anymore. Its far and few between. They still have a few home decor I like but honestly they have way too much holiday and animal Pet supplies that take up most their inventory. There bedding comforter section is sad😔. You find white solids or stripes. So boring! I remember finding treasures. Comforters that looked like they were $300 and I felt like I was stealing it for $100. I just don't find anything anymore. Everything has a dog on it. Signs, a dog! Gift bags, a dog! Pictures, a dog! Pillows, if you want the best seat move my dog! I wish they'd let petland do what petland does and give...

I understand it is apart of your job to sell the tj maxx credit card. But when I say no thanks and you proceed to stop me checking out and telling me over and over I need too and I keep saying no, why continue. Took 20 minutes to check me out 2 items cause the lady kept telling me I was making a mistake not getting the credit card. Well I don’t want it can we move on. And finally I said “ma’am I don’t want the card can I please just check out” she proceeded to get angry saying it’s part of her job when I said I get that but let me check out and that she kept stopping me. Got everything I went in for and more😆. A very pleasant young lady Yoshelyn checked me out. Very friendly was sooo wonderful to see her smiling face since so many younger age people do not know how to have eye contact with customer nor how to speak unless it’s s’thing they were trained for ( did you find everything you need. ) some don’t even thank you for your purchase. I worked in retail all my life and I greatly appreciated every purchase someone made since they truly were the ones paying my salary. Was told that as the young age of 17.
