Update as of 9/7/24: Still n awesome time! However, DO NOT look under ur seat!! I made the mistake of my cell phone falling down into the chair! When i opened it to grab my phone it almost just got left!! It looks like No one cleans under the seats. Theres enought candy, popcorn, trash, etc that im surprised people arent complaining about ants or cockroaches! Theres at least a gallon or 2 worth of garbage just under my seat in the middle of the theater! I didnt look under the rest of my families seats! Too Afraid to look that it would make me sick! This needs attention!! Gonna take it to 4 stars down from 5! Hopefully next time we go this are cleaned out!
1st review: Omg! I haven't been here since the seats were just fold down seats!! I feel like the one I went into was a smaller room, or it just had bigger seats than when I was in old theater. The food, candy, n drinks are still the most expensive stuff in this experience! The chairs, however, are so comfortable that I almost couldn't keep my eyes open. Lol, my wife and I made a joke that we could stay n catch up on some sleep, lol. One thing we kinda felt was annoying was that we had to pick our seats! We were there with 5 minutes till the start of the movie and actually customer 5&6! So we had the entire movie room floorplan to ourselves to pick from except for 4 seats!?!? So why not just let us go in n pick. Also, when they show u the seating chart to pick from, they show u by just flipping it around, which shows u the room from standing at the front looking back to the entrance! So when u actually walk into the room, u look in the wrong area for ur seats. Especially if u forget that u picked looking at an upside-down Floorplan. They should ahow u the plan from where u walk in. This way, u can see, oh, I come in n my seats r in this direction. Instead of trying to see seat numbers in the dark or just trying to remember where u sit from upside-down memory, lol. Besides that Lil hiccup, I think this was so much fun and relaxing. I just wish they had 3d and 4d cause I love 3d, and adding sensory 4d stuff would be over the too experience!! Movies will need to be longer just cause we will wanna be in the comfort so much...
Read moreHorrible! We stopped coming here long ago since there's always some sort of issue like no regular ticket booths open so everyone literally has to stand in the same line for tickets AND snacks. One line...ONE LINE! Tonight we decided to take a chance since this movie theater is the closest to us in driving distance. Movie started at 10:30pm, we arrived at 10:30 pm and realized there were people standing outside who couldn't get in...why? Because ALL THE DOORS WERE LOCKED. We knocked on the windows and all the workers literally stood behind the snack counter and didn't come to the door until 10:40. I asked why was the door locked and some dude said because they were about to close..Close? Sir how are u closing when a few of these people ordered 10 30 tickets online and a show starts at 10 30? I asked for the manager and of course some dirty looking lady claimed she was a "something" manager, u know how people claim they're the manager when they don't want to get the real one. Gave some lame excuse about not opening the door. I said ma'am, we all sat there and watch all of u (about 6/7 white employees) all watch us outside without opening the door until the last minute...and yup u guessed it, it was a bunch of Brown people waiting and knocking to get in..coincidence? Idk, but i do have it recorded and it appears strange as hell. Our concerns were met with major attitude, none of the patrons were apologized to, and they didn't care. They just stood there, then the lady finally said she saw us. My camera shows u all saw us..but ok. Years ago this movie theater used to be packed, and the few times i decided to give it another shot in recent years it has always been empty..I'm talking a few people sprinkled here and there in an ENTIRE theater even on a weekend. Again, coincidence? I think not... Get your customer service skills in order..well, hopefully, it already appears it's not enough business coming in. I'll continue driving a few extra miles for better theaters and better...
Read moreI can handle the downed icee machines because, you know, things break sometimes. I can even handle the stale popcorn. However, what I cannot overlook are the dead pixels on movie theaters screens in auditoriums you are still selling tickets to. There is nothing that breaks the immersion more than haphazardly seeing blue dots on the auditorium screen throughout the movie, especially a dark movie like the Batman.
I remember this movie theater 'last year' having the same issue, so I stayed away for several months hoping the issue would be remedied. However, I got my ticket to the Batman and the problem still persisted, specifically auditorium six where there are over a dozen dead pixels, which means a dozen blue dots that persists throughout the movie breaking the immersion and completely ruining the experience. I have never ran into a theater that has had this issue because most theater managers know how critically imperative it is to keep their screens in the utmost top top condition.
Also note, some auditoriums, I forget which numbers, either have sound quality issues (ie, sometimes it is actually hard to hear the movie) or the screens are too dark that it is hard to see what is going on.
If the screen or sound quality is not fixed, then at least have the integrity and respect for your customer base to not sell tickets to that particular auditorium until you can get them fixed. From here on out, I am taking my business elsewhere. I will drive a little further and go to AMC over at White Marsh because they actually have good screens and great sound...
