I gave the location 2 stars, because it is a great location and I would hate to see it close. [Roselle Location] My recent visit to the CVS pharmacy made me realize I had to write this review. It looked obvious that CVS managment needed help with more staff, especially for cleaning area and rugs in front of the Pharmacy section & bathroom where people are always going when they are sick to stop & control the spread of germs.
I would also like to note that the CVS Pharmacy staff need to be a little more professional & call out names when the prescriptions are ready so that the person who is sick can know when to stand in line and be allowed to sit down and rest in a (clean) seating area while waiting.
For all pharmacy staff please be mindful that most people go there when they are sick and can use your help, patience, & understanding during the prescription pick-up process and NOT be ignored.
Lastly, employees should NOT be allowed to work if they smell like marijuana before entering to work or smoke marijuana while at the job and should be monitored.
I write this with hopes this is read by CVS management & staff and staff gets better and the location...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnfortunately the pharmacist I dealt with here did not go out to their way to promote patient care or medication adherence -- I was told my mother's rx was too soon and was given the option to pay for the days difference as they will only supply a carry over if there is no refill and a new script is pending (asked twice and was told this was their "policy") - being in healthcare, and knowing the pharmacy industry I had to call the insurance company and request an override for a refill for my mother (which the pharmacy should have done, or at the least suggested, rather than being told to pay an overpriced difference for the days she was early -- generic pills cost cents to produce, so even the quote was bogus). I understand pharmacies have prescriptions to fill, calls to make, etc. but it's also important to care and advocate for your patients in an industry where the pharmacy staff are the "professional" experts and supposed to promote medication adherence. I had to write this review as I hope the patients who do not have an advocate demand more from staff, question what they are told, and sadly advocate for themselves as the pharmacist cannot...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just received the worst service from the Roselle CVS pharmacy. I picked up my mother's prescription and it stated 30 of 90 pills which was unusual. I called and left a message and received a timely call back. I was told that the video was reviewed and I received 3 bottles. I clearly only had one bottle and I said that. I was immediately dismissed and told that the video shows I received 3.i stated i would be right there and show what I received since I was not a liar or a thief. Once I arrived I was told there was an error and an older video was reviewed and there was an error on the label because there were 90 pills even though it stated 30. I want to know why I was accused of lying instead of the person, who I believe is named Nancy, checking the validity of what I said. The only conclusion I can make is this is how patients are treated when private insurance is not utilized. I am appaled with the level of disrespect. My mother is fortunate to have me to always advocate and demand respect t but what about all the others who do not feel empowered to question. An apology hardly seems enough for how I was...
