This is a hidden jewel. It is in the basement. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this is your place.

They can even make things less spicy upon request, unfortunately that doesn't apply to the daily specials.

They even offer for take out some of their home made salsas, try the green one. They make fresh fruit juices and "aguas frescas", I highly recommend "horchata", tamarind, hibiscus and mango.

The only caveat with this place is that it is mostly takeout. They do have a couple of tables and can accommodate up to 6 patrons 🙃 so if you are lucky grab a table otherwise get takeout.

My family and I tried one of their specials (pork grinds in green sauce), beef soup, breaded chicken with rice and beans (the Mexican rice has carrots and peas), a cemita (it is a sandwich with a special bread with sesame seeds) and a torta cubana (a sandwich in a prtuguese roll)

Everything was tasty, we were impressed by how fresh the ingredients were and how tasty were even the simple things like their refried beans. With a main dish they include 4 handmade corn tortillas.

If you are shy about interacting with people. You can even order online, I wish they would publish their daily specials there.

I am definitely coming back again and highly...

This place has bomb food, however the service sucks. I’ve never left a review anywhere but i had to tell everyone about Thisbe unprofessional place. One day i go with my friend. We sit down. 20 min in and no one came to assist us so we left. So i gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back again. 2nd time around i order my food she said 20 min i told her I’ll be back i came back 20 min later and waited an additional 25 min. Mind you all i ordered was a sandwich!!!! Totaling 45 min for one sandwich. Fast forward a month later i say to myself “let me call ahead of time”. I call in order the same sandwich she says 5 min. Knowing how they are i gave them 25 min. I go in TWENTY FIVE MINUTES LATER AFTER BEING TOLD 5 and she has the audacity to tell me she can’t find the order and says she forgot to place the order. Mind u I’m being nice and she had a snotty attitude (in Spanish). I told her this isn’t the first time this has happened. She obviously disagreed. I politely left as she insulted me in Spanish to her coworkers. (First review I’ve ever written and is worth every letter) once again bomb food....

Shot in the dark and Hit the bullseye. Tonight my family and I enjoyed for the very first time “Primos food”to say the least it will not be the last time we enjoy either. We ordered on a Saturday around 5pm and we’re told an hour for the delivery, surprisingly that was exactly how it went down!! But let me cut to the chase the FOOD!!! We had the chicken and the cheese flautas these were delicious with all the fixins rice and beans, also such a satisfying crunch no soggy mess!!! The lil one wasn’t feeling risky tonight with the menu and so we ordered the Fries and chicken milenesa they were awesome!! Tacos were on point the Pastor and Cecina next time we will try the Tinga tacos!!OLY OLY GUACAMOLE fresh and delicious perfect spice and flavor. And Finally the menudo (tripe stew) was perfectly cooked will finish that tomorrow feeling deliciously stuffed!!! THANK YOU PRIMOS Bless y’all for our...

Overall the food is DELICIOUS. Had the spicy shrimp and the garlic shrimp. The service was ok but overall good. Small hole in the wall (usually makes amazing food, this place one of em, based on the 2 kinds of dishes we had). Don't base your price on what you see on Google. Always ask first (I always forget). The prices have gone up (13-->17). If you speak Spanish you'll have an easier time if you want changes to a dish (was a brown bean in the dish and wanted black and was wondering about the rice (pic was white) only had yellow) The first lady I asked the questions too kind of tried but then walked away mid speach. A guy comes and we're able to get the order in. They usually have outdoor seating but it was down when I passed through. You can eat inside but its a little cramped if you do so. My order came with a soda which was nice.

Oh my god these are the best tacos I've ever had. I got the Tacos de Tinga, which is spicy chicken. They were moderately spicy and numbing and the chicken was extremely tender. The tacos also had avocado, cilantro, a grey stringy thing I'm not sure about. Doesn't matter, tasted amazing. Corn tortillas were firm and had a nice bite texture to them. On the side, there was salsa verde, cucumber slices, and lime which pair so so well with the tacos. Salsa added a bit of kick with jalapenos (I believe), the cucumber added good texture with its crispness, and the acidity of the lime helped as well. I was full after 3 tacos but ate the 4th one anyways. No regret!

Chorizo tacos were pretty good, pastor was fine and spicy chicken was not worth it. I threw that away after 2 bites (forgot to take a pic). Hole in the wall place with no real seating inside (1 table in the corner), all outdoor seating (in the driveway) or in your car. Weird smell when you walk in the door but not from the food or behind the counter. I don’t think I’d try this again.
