I went in to get Watch batteries for several watches, as well as having one of them repaired. I had an earring that the Pearl had fallen out of to be repaired. I also purchased a glass nail file as a Christmas gift. While in the store, I inquired about whether they had a mustard seed charm. Gina waited on me and gave me several options. I ended up ordering the charm. The watch batteries were replaced while I waited. I met Nedra and saw Steve and Mr. Dostal as well. Everyone is always so kind and helpful each time I visit the store. I had originally become a customer several years ago when I needed my rings resized and I found Dostal’s did such an incredible job that they have become my go to jewelers. Gina is so friendly and knowledgeable and calls me by name. She is so sweet, she makes me feel like a personal friend. On my very first visit, I found a broach that matched some earrings that I inherited. Gina helped me envision the final design and Mr. Dostal converted the brooch into a pendant. I was extremely pleased with the way it matched the earrings and the workmanship was impeccable. I also have purchased several collectibles for my grandson and had his name engraved on them. I had my engagement ring and wedding band resized at Dostal’s and they did an amazing job! I had to go down from a 10.5 to an 8.25 after some significant weight loss. I had been putting the resizing off since my rings have diamonds halfway down on the bands and I was worried the resizing process would require a complete reconstruction. When I finally took them in I had no clue what my new size would be. The folks at Dostal’s were so patient with me as I went back and forth between two sizes for way too long. They were very transparent on pricing. Luckily I did not need a reconstruction but the amount of diamonds did affect the process and price (but I knew that going in and was still comfortable with the quote I was given). When I picked them up they fit perfectly and were cleaned and polished better than when they were new (I had let my rings get pretty gross so I was shocked Dostal’s got them looking so nice). I purchased (2) watches from Dostals and shortly after purchasing the batteries went out in both. When I returned to address the issue store was closed for business. Not closed for the day but closed. There was a sign on the door basically stating they were closed temporarily or until further notice. I’m not certain but I think they were close at least 6 months. I have several watches so I just rotated in and out around the two that wasn’t working. Well they eventually reopened and called and expressed my issue to Nedra and she shared with me that they try to take care of me once I came in. Once arriving I shared my concerns with Steven. He quoted me regular price for exchanging the battery. When I returned, I again shared my experience with Gina just to see if they were interested in providing quality customer based on there unavailability at the time the watches stopped.
