I went to this salon once, at the previous location, for a haircut only. I asked for long stacked layers. Instead, I got a long wedge (layers underneath, shortest at nape) - which made my previously waist length, thick, naturally curly hair look like Roseanne Rosanadana from SNL!

The owner flatly REFUSED to even try to fix the awful cut, although I asked her to do so the very same day. The next professional I saw said that it was the WORST CURLY CUT she'd EVER seen, in her entire 10+ year career! She agreed that whomever (I didn't name names) did it should never have cut my hair in that way!

Based on all of the photos on all of the owner's social media pages, I don't believe she even knows how to deal with NATURAL curls (there are only hot iron curls in straight hair displayed). I should have looked first but, even so, she should have told me that curls are not her forté - especially since I told her I hadn't let a professional touch my hair in over 20 years, because NO ONE I had used previously knew how to properly cut my long, thick, naturally curly hair! I guess she thought it/I didn't matter since I'm over 50...

Which reminds me...

She also said that the extra bright silver hair around my face was an optical illusion! IT IS NOT! It's extra bright there because I pull my hair back in a pony or put it in a bun, especially when I'm outside...so that hair is almost always exposed to the sun, causing it to be extra white!

I'll never recommend the owner of this salon to anyone & I'll never go back!

Curly girls, be...

DO NOT GO HERE! Don't go to this salon if you plan on getting your hair messed up!!!!! I went to April and gave her a chance because I needed to find a salon close to home. I messaged with her quite a few times prior to getting hair cut since I have really thick hair and had my hair messed up before. She messaged back quickly and assured me she knew what she was doing. When I got there she talked like she knew what she was talking about when it came to hair so I trusted her. This is what hair stylist a bad name. She was nice and professional until another client came in and she rushed to get done and all that went out the window. My hair looked ok when I left. I didn't see the back of my hair well she showed me a picture of the back of my hair that she took. When I got home I saw that my hair didn't feel right and when I started looking at it I noticed it was all messed up. She added short layers everywhere that weren't blended in or even with each other. The back of my hair wasn't straight I loaded pictures of the back of my hair that wasn't straight. I messaged her as soon as I saw it messed up to see if she can fix it. I messaged her 3 different times. I even asked just to get a refund in the last message because 60 bucks for a haircut isn't cheap when yuou gotta pay someone else fix it. She never answered any of my messages. This was suppose to be my haircut for mother's day. I had to rush and get it fixed. DO NOT GO HERE ULESS you want your hair...

She’s a loveing caring person and she loves and was blessed with her passion she has (hairstylist) IN MY OPINION SHE IS PROBABLY THE BEST HAIR STYLIST OUT THERE -really and truly a FACT!! You can never just beleive someone else’s opinion unless you know it’s true for a fact. No one knows my mom like me or our family does and no body has the right to come and put a false advertisement on her salons google page. Before you say something over social media your should think about saying it over the phone to face to face and be more proper and professional. If anyone has any problem or anything with the work my mom does to your hair you should call her and talk to her about it because she would gladly help you and work with you until she/you get it right. She has a great personality and loves and cares about EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HER CLIENTS and would do anything for them. Once again think about the thinks you say and put on social media because it is public to everyone and anyone that comes on this page for her work. It’s that easy just to give her a call she gives her personal cell to every one of her clients and is also on this page of hers . She has her own family at home and still never puts her clients to decline🤷🏻‍♀️She would gladly answer her clients and easily respond to you/y’all!!! THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU GONNA SAY BEFORE...
