The worst traumatic experience of my life! I asked my waiter what was what he suggested for a plate with shrimp that was "grilled shrimp" but he never told me they had to be peeled. After an hour waiting for my food it finally arrived boiling hotand I had to peal them while they were burning my finger tips. After I finished peeling them I started to eat them and on my second shrimp I started to CHOKE this shrimp felt like plastic!!! For the few minutes that felt I stood up purple and started to hang on to my neck with desperation but not one of the people that worked for the restaurant came to help me. I was alone with out my family or friends I was scared. I was able swallow after some very scary last few seconds.. I asked for the owner and explained what happened to the manager because he said the owner was unavailable so after explaining everything all he said was oh I'm sorry the costumes weren't able to help you because all the waiters where busy ok but then he has the nerve to say this "If you are looking to get free food. It's not going to happen" I was simply warning them so nobody else would experience what happened to me... The food was terrible, the service was unbelievably terrible . I hope this restaurant get its act...

Delicious Mexican Cuisine and Friendly Service at La Cosona
I recently visited La Cosona and was blown away by the authentic flavors and generous portions. The highlight of my meal was the Full Order of the Nancho Sabrosos - corn tortillas loaded with beans, tender beef fajita, and melted cheese, served perfectly with fresh guacamole, crisp lettuce, and ripe tomatoes. Every bite was packed with flavor and absolutely satisfying.
The beef fajita soft tacos were another standout. The meat was tender, seasoned beautifully, and paired perfectly with the fresh toppings. Portion sizes are great, making it ideal for sharing or enjoying as a hearty solo meal.
The staff at La Cosona were warm, attentive, and made the dining experience smooth and enjoyable. The atmosphere is welcoming and casual, perfect for family meals or casual outings with friends.
Whether you’re craving classic Mexican dishes like tacos and fajitas, or something unique like the Nancho Sabroso, La Cosona delivers authentic flavor and excellent quality. I highly recommend stopping by, they make it easy to fall in love with their food...

Ordered a steak, enchilada and potato plate. How would you like your steak cooked? Medium. Food arrives steak is cooked to death (too tough to chew). Being hungry I ate enchilada and potato. Server came back about 10 min after bringing plates and asked if everything was ok and I showed her the steak and she commented that "This is over done" . I can have them redo it for you. I declined as my wife had finished eating and did not want to wait and eat while my wife just sat there. She took my plate and came back a few mins. later "I showed my manager he will be here to see you in a few. She returned and said a manager would be at the table soon. 15 min. later no one had arrived at table. I gave her my card and paid for meal. Everyone makes mistakes but management not addressing it with customer is...
