I took a watch in for repair and another watch in for a battery replacement. Brian, a manager, was initially very helpful in getting the work done on both watches. I left with the watch that had a battery replaced but the other watch would take a couple of weeks Brian said. Well after 30 days of not hearing from Jared, I called and was told that they would look into it and call me back the next day. No one called...for three days. So I made another call and asked for Brian this time. He was out but a gal said she would look into it and have Brian call me tomorrow. I waited two day and and he never called. No one called me back. So on the third day, I called and Brian answered. I asked about my watch and explained my disappointment in the lack of communication. Brian apologized but explained it was 10 minutes prior to the store closing for the day and he would personally look into the status of my watch repair and call me the next morning. I waited another 48 hours and he never called. On the third day, two friends from work accompanied me to Jared, as one needed a new watch battery for his Tiffany watch. Brian was not working that afternoon but another jumped in as soon as he heard of my difficulty getting any feedback on my watch repair. This manager was of middle eastern decent, (I don't recall his name) very friendly and seems eager to help me. He informed me that my watch needed a couple of additional weeks for repair, as they sent the watch out to a specialist in Chicago. I was fine with that now that I had some idea as what was going on. As soon as I had my update, I suggested that this manager help my friend with his watch battery. Well rather than replace the battery, the manager began to belittle my friend for his "poor choice" in a Tiffany & Co. watch. "You're paying for a name, not craftsmanship." This continued on for about five minutes and my friend had enough and walked away from the banter. At this point, this manager approached me and defends his comments by saying "I have a friend who works at Tiffany & Co. and he says all of the jewelry is inferior and that people are duped by the name Tiffany." My friends are very upset at this point and walk out. I go running after them and we leave. FOUR weeks later I get a call that my watch has been repaired and is ready for pick up. I go in the next day and Brian is there along with the other manager. I pay for the repair and decide to tell Brian how the other manager insulted my friend. Brian acted shocked and asked if he could confront the manager about the allegation. I said absolutely. After roughly 10 minutes both men approached me and apologized. The other manager said he didn't recall the situation and Brian said that Jared policy was to insure that every customer has a positive experience. I thought, well I should tell Brian about the multiple times I left him messages for him to call me back and he never did, as well as the time I spoke to him 10 minutes prior to closing on the phone. Surprisingly, Brian dismissed what I was saying by "I already apologized to you, have a good day." I took my watch and walked out. I will NEVER patronize Jared Jewelry again. If there is an opportunity where someone asks me for a jeweler reference, I will NOT refer Jared but rather Guzzetta & Co. or...

After being completely dismissed and treated horribly at the Jared’s in Sacramento... I was hesitant to try again. I’m disabled... I was by myself... not dressed fancy... and I’ve experienced enough judgment in moments where I needed compassion most. But I took a chance and called ahead to the Roseville location.
I spoke with the manager, Skip, and right away... I could feel the difference. His voice was kind... his words sincere... and he said, “Absolutely... we can help you... and I’m so sorry that happened.”
When I arrived... I was greeted with a genuine smile. Skip came out to personally meet me and made me feel comfortable from the very first moment. There was no judgment... no questioning... only kindness and care. He treated me with such dignity and respect... it brought tears to my eyes.
The other employees were just as wonderful... smiling and saying, “We’ll be right with you”... and meaning it. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming... and for the first time in a long time, I felt completely safe and valued in a retail space.
Skip took the time to clearly explain everything about the resizing process... made sure I felt comfortable... and truly went above and beyond in every way.
If you’re nervous about walking into a store—especially if you’re disabled... not dressed up... or just had a bad experience—go to the Jared’s in Roseville. This team doesn’t just provide great service... they show real humanity.

My boyfriend and I had gone to Shane Co. before going to Jared and boy was that a mistake. At Shane co. we were passed on from one associate to the next and then the second associate disappeared for 15 mins without telling us even though we stated we wanted to purchase a diamond engagement ring and possibly both of our wedding bands. It was not busy at all and there were associates going in and out of their office/vault area in the center of the store. We left furious that we were profiled either by our looks or attire or possibly race. When we entered Jared a few minutes later, after the horrible experience at Shane Co., we were greeted with a warm welcome and big smiles. We had been there before and assisted by Brett , the Assistant Manager, who was thankfully there that day as well. He was friendly, kind, attentive, honest and really listened to our needs. We didn’t feel pressured nor ignored and he was patient with me as I kept rethinking the cut of the stone. He found us a beautiful diamond that checked all our boxes and more! Thanks to Brett and the team at this Jared location we found exactly what we were looking for and left with an amazing experience my boyfriend and I will remember forever. Thank you Brett! We will be returning for all of our future...
