One of the best dining experiences of my life—and the most unexpected! We walked into Fleming’s without a reservation, simply hoping for a nice evening. The host warmly asked if we were celebrating anything, and when we mentioned our anniversary, we were touched to be seated just five minutes later at a beautifully decorated table—with an anniversary card already waiting for us. It was a thoughtful and generous gesture, especially considering we were walk-ins.
From the very beginning, the entire team made us feel genuinely special. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality gave the evening the feeling of a perfectly curated celebration. Everyone—from the waitstaff to the manager—was attentive, kind, and sincerely invested in making our night unforgettable.
A particularly memorable moment: while we were taking a photo at the table, a staff member noticed and kindly offered to take one for us. To our surprise, they returned with a printed and framed photo—a beautiful keepsake we’ll always treasure. That simple but meaningful gesture spoke volumes about the care and pride they put into their service.
The food was nothing short of extraordinary. For starters, we enjoyed ahi tuna and Wagyu beef strips—both delicately prepared and full of flavor. One of the most memorable parts of the evening was the Wagyu Experience, where rich, beautifully marbled A5 Wagyu was brought to our table and cooked right in front of us on a sizzling hot stone. The aroma, sound, and tenderness of the beef created a moment that felt like we were transported straight to a high-end dining experience in Japan. It wasn’t just dinner—it was a sensory experience, thoughtfully guided by the staff and presented with precision.
For our main course, we had the Lamb Wellington and Filet Mignon, both prepared to perfection. The lamb was tender and wrapped in a delicate pastry, while the filet was melt-in-your-mouth tender. For sides, we shared Fleming’s signature potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts—both delicious and perfectly portioned.
Each course was served with fresh plates and flawless presentation, and the timing between dishes was just right—never rushed, never too slow.
We ended the evening with a rich and indulgent chocolate lava cake, and to our surprise, were gifted a box of gourmet truffle chocolates to take home. It was the perfect final touch to an already perfect evening.
The level of attention and hospitality was so exceptional, it felt like every detail had been thought of just for us. We joked that the only thing missing was a foot spa under the table—that’s how incredibly pampered and well-cared-for we felt throughout the evening.
Thank you to everyone at Fleming’s for turning a spontaneous visit into one of our most cherished memories. We left with full hearts, satisfied palates, and deep appreciation for the care that went into every moment. We can’t...
Read more★☆☆☆☆ Beautiful space, poor fundamentals—after two tries. Visit 1: I drive into what looks like the parking area and it already sets a bad tone. You drive into a cone-blocked dead end with cars stacking behind you and the only “out” seems to be $10 valet. After a stressful multi-point turn to exit, I parked off-site, walked in, and found the bar completely full with no place to wait. Hopeless and left. Visit 2 (lunch ~1:30): Went in and found it lightly seated overall. The bar area was nearly empty but we had to change our initial seating as behind us was a noisy booth so we decided to move to the far end of the bar. First staff interaction was an immediate calamari appetizer upselling before even asking about drink orders. We ordered wine, then a steak salad and a burger. The wait for our food stretched 25–30 minutes. Despite the fact that several staff were gathered behind the bar, there were no check-ins with us. Only asking if we want more wine. Finally, I got one of them to make eye contact and asked about our food? She said they are making it. I mentioned there are hardly any customers in the restaurant? She looked unhappy and trapsed off to the kitchen. She finally came back and just simply said “2 minutes” but it became much longer. After much longer than 2 minutes our meals arrived. The burger was way overcooked and amongst many things had thick strips of iceberg lettuce on top? The fries undercooked, salad forgettable. Super hungry at this point and rather than complain we just there trying to make the best of this sorry food. All the while watching in full view was the Staff behind the bar carrying on with a loud insider banter that felt insensitive and disconnected from guests. At one point there were nine employees just three feet from me. Maybe the Lowest point: Directly in front of me and this throng of employees was someone who appeared to be management and crawled up on top of the bar—shoes on—to adjust bottles, a clear hygiene concern. We were asked if we wanted yet more wine and declined. Another carafe was dropped off anyway. I don’t personally like leaving this kind of a review, but I had to—perhaps I may have a different viewpoint. I co-own a busy local restaurant that’s been voted by locals #1 in Roseville year after year, so I think I may have an insightful knowledge how this type of business should be run. Conclusion: it’s not running very well...

Last night, my husband and I celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse in Roseville, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in years.
From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, welcoming, and incredibly personalized. Our evening began with cocktails, the On Cloud 9 made with Ketel One and the Signature Smoked Old Fashioned, both were expertly crafted and set the tone for the night.
For starters, we indulged in the Japanese A5 Wagyu (absolutely phenomenal!) and the Colossal Shrimp, which were both beautifully presented and delicious. For our entrées, my husband enjoyed the Bone-In Prime Ribeye with a lobster tail add-on, while I had the Main Filet Mignon. We shared the Fleming’s Potatoes (cheesy au gratin with a spicy kick, a must-try!) and the Brussels sprouts, which were packed with flavor.
We paired our meal with a bottle of Caymus Suisun, and we highly recommend it , it was smooth, and perfect for the occasion.
Dessert was equally memorable: a rich, velvety crème brûlée followed by a complimentary glass of champagne to toast our anniversary. As if that weren’t enough, the staff surprised us by taking a photo of us, printing it out, and sending us home with it along with a lovely box of truffles, such a thoughtful and elegant touch.
Our servers, Kaytee and Marissa, were absolute stars. Attentive without being intrusive, genuinely kind, and on top of every detail. We were also greeted by several other staff throughout the evening, which made us feel celebrated and truly cared for.
The atmosphere was everything you’d hope for on a special occasion: elegant, romantic, cozy, and sophisticated, with the added treat of live music playing softly in the background. Even with a full house, the noise level never overwhelmed, allowing for private conversation and connection.
Fleming’s Roseville gave us all the feels and a night we’ll never forget. From the cuisine to the service to the smallest personalized touches, this was hands down one of the best dinners we've ever had.
Thank you, Fleming’s, for making our 29th anniversary so incredibly...
