Very disappointing!! The food was good as always but the Manager "Alex" made the experience awful! He should not be a Manager,he does not have the empathy or personality to be in a management position. His only answer to everything was "no". Our waiter "Wyatt" was great but "Alex" ruined our dining experience. If you have a party of more than 4 don't go to the Yard House, especially if "Alex" is the manager on duty....he is like a two year old learning new words and all he knows is the word "no". We were seated outside in 103 degree heat with a 3 month old baby because "Alex" wasn't willing to accommodate us....although we were even willing to split up the group...it was a "no" from "Alex".Many tables were left empty but "Alex" said that he had to be respectful to the other guests and they would come first even though we had waited the original 30 minutes for a table. We had a party of 7 plus the baby and we were seated in a booth that at most 6 would fit and he was unwilling to let us have a chair at the end of the table If we wanted to move anywhere but the outdoor seating we would have to go back to the waiting area and it would be another 30 to 45 minutes before we could be seated again. We had already ordered our food so that was not an option. I realize good help is hard to find sometimes but "Alex" needs to go back to working at McDonald's or wherever he came from to get his...
Read moreWent to dinner at Mikuni Kaisen for birthday and it was an entire evening of AWFUL. The waiter was Malcom....first he got our drinks all wrong. He seemed to know nothing about the menu when we asked questions. Anne ordered teriaki steak and it was grizzly and tough! It came with 2 onion rings and NOTHING else. She asked for the sauce on the side.....all the sauce was drizzled all over the plate and the steak. I spun the birthday wheel and it landed on rice...I declined because it would not have fit in my luggage. So Malcom brought me a shot glass in place of it. Then one of the waiters cleared dishes and took the shot glass. We ordered dessert...and I told Malcom that I really did not like Moshe. So he recommended the fried pound cake with ice cream. When it came it had Moshe in between the pound cake...had to send it back. The noise level was deafening and one of my party guests wears a hearing aide and could not hear the coversation at our table because of the LOUD music. This special night was...
Read moreI have gone there to shop at whole foods, nail salon, and aveda salon, for the past decade. I have to say the people that work in the aforementioned places have gotten progressively more rude. No help or smiles at the grocery store. Aveda salon over priced and rude customer service people. They offer you a drink when you get there and bring you a hot tea that is lukewarm. I fell in their salon and nobody helped me up. I fractured my ankle and bruised my knees and had a hematoma on my arm from the fall. They did not file a report or enquired how I was. I will never set foot in this business. The nail salon is over priced and they don't do a thorough job so you have to come back sooner and they charge 100 dollars for pedicure and manicure no gel or anything fancy. The owner works there and she tells her clients stories of drinking alcohol till she passes out. I set next table and was flabbergasted. The influx of LA. and the bay area has polluted the atmosphere in that shopping center, people are rude and...
