I went into Macy;'s to buy a mattress. I had looked at all of the mattresses in the hotels in my travels and one kept popping up, Beautyrest Felicity. I went to Mattress firm and found the equivalent but decided on Macy's. Wrong Choice. Spoke with Richard Bloomquist at the Rosedale Home location and he assured me the Arbour Terrace was the equivalent. 1 week later I went in terribly dissappointed and spoke with a different rep and told her that the bed I purchased was not at all what I had slept on. She proceeded to show me the real felicity equivalent. I asked why I hadn't been shown this one earlier as it was obviously not the correct mattress by the uber plush feel. She explained that there was a 15% restocking fee...something old richard did not mention and that she thought it could be waived. She also made an effort to get the ball rolling. After all of the hassle of calling customer service and pleading my case, I may end up taking the hit and going back to Mattress firm. THe gentleman at the roseville store was very knowledgable and explained the policies of macy's and that MF had a 100-day policy that was much more reasonable then Macy's. I do not need to buy anything from Macy's in the future as there are far more and better...
Read moreI would give this place and the sales associates 0 stars if I could. Avoid Macy's Furniture Roseville Location if you can. I made a purchase in July, payed some up front and put the rest on my Macy's card. Almost 2 weeks into my order, I received a message stating my order had been "kicked off" of the system and I need to repurchase. I was upset with the fact that it took them over a week to notify me about this issue. I went in to cancel the order. I was waiting for someone to assist me for about 15-20 min. Finally, a sales associate asked if I needed help and after I explained what had happened and why I was there, she informed me that the consolation will be made and the person I had initially worked with (Todd Leffier) will give me a call to sort things out. It has been almost a month and I still haven't heard or received any confirmation regarding my cancellation. I called twice and the lady I spoke with said she will have Todd give me a call. I still haven't heard from them. This is UNACCEPTABLE and Poor customer service. This is NOT how you treat others. I would avoid this location at all cost. Don't be fooled by the fake persona...

I tried to place an order online - it immediately said order cancelled - so of course I tried again - same thing simply a message saying order cancelled - so I tried a third time - same result. I called the phone number for customer service and they told me they have to verify EVERY online order.....that seems highly unlikely at best. The best part is - the order price hit my bank account all three times.....so they cancelled the order but still charged me for it immediately....It's been a week and still waiting for one of those to be credited back.....then they deliver it early! Hurray! Except it's supposed to be 6 chairs and I only got 4 chairs - call back and they tell me they will resubmit the order - no e-mail confirmation, no confirmation number - they say just wait about a week for the e-mail......what an absolute clown show - this used to be a decent company run with dignity and class - not anymore - slid right into the...
