I would rate lower if possible. I will never return for anything and hope no one else has to go through what I went through. My experience was horrible. They took pride in bad work and disrespectul behavior. They chose not to listen to and blamed me when things went wrong. The specifics of my experience are below: The short version is, they did the wrong nail style, cut my cuticles and the skin around my fingers to the point of blood, blamed me for their mistakes, physically touched, hugged and followed me when I didn’t want them to, talked over me and ultimately made me pay when it should have been free.

The long version is, I went in on Thursday Dec 17, 2020 at 530pm to get a full acrylic set. I showed the nail tech, Cindy, what I wanted (an ombre style) and showed her a picture. She said she could do it but then did a french tip. I thought there was a special technique to smudge the white to create the ombre effect but when I realized I spoke up and she began blaming me. At one point her fellow nail tech tried saying “it’s too late”. I stood my ground and in an attempt to fix it, Cindy began drilling off the french tip so haphazardly that she cut every single one of my cuticles. I didn’t realize how bad until I saw blood underneath a couple of them and then felt stinging as she began to apply the liquid that bonds the powder to the nail. I showed her the blood and she said sorry as if it didn’t matter and then began reapplying the powder for the ombre so thick that each nail was unnaturally bumpy. At one point she cut the skin on my right pinky with a file.

At that point, I got up to step away because I needed a moment to just walk and breath and she held onto my hand, followed me, tried to hug me, pulled down her mask a couple times, repeatedly said “sit now” and all together ignored my requests when I told her I needed some time. She didn’t stop following me until one of the other women I was there with said something. At that moment I decided I wanted Mai, the other nail tech, to finish my nails and Mai drilled everything Cindy had done off and redid everything but my pinky fingers (because they were in so much pain). When it was time to pay, Mai completely disregarded the pain I was in and my demand that it should be free and said she would only take off 15 dollars. I left at 830PM.

I went back the next day at 10 AM to get a copy of my receipt and get a full refund but Mai said she couldn’t give me the receipt because the store owner took it home. She then admitted to fault by saying the way Cindy cut me was wrong. Mai told me to return at 330 PM to speak to Heidi the store owner. I repeatedly confirmed the time but when I returned Heidi was not there. I left my name and number and was told I would get a call on Saturday when Heidi came in but never did so I called at 241PM. Heidi was on the phone and she told me go in to speak to her at 315. On the way there a man named Hong called me and said HE was the store owner. He spoke over me, claimed I just wanted money back after days of having and liking my nails. He said he wasn’t available to meet that day and I wasn’t available to meet on Sunday so we set up a time to speak Monday (today) at 9am.

Today, I thought it would be a conversation but he once again spoke over me and the witness I had brought. He didn't look at any of my pictures or listen to the recording I had. He also didn’t care to look at his camera footage. He completely sided with his employees and said my pain was because it was my first time getting acrylics. He said it was my fault for not stopping the style and also not coming back in right away…. which I did do. He wouldn’t give me a refund but tried to offer 50% off and 65 dollars off my next visit while still saying I was at fault. How much sense does that make? I didn’t take the offer because he compared my pain and swelling (4 days later) to a haircut. I then asked for a copy of my receipt and he couldn’t give me that. I have no reason to trust anything from this place and hope no one else becomes...

I came in very first time to get a full set of nails. Very friendly people however when I told her what I exactly wanted she did not listen she did what she felt she wanted to do and said trust me these will look sexy nails so I said whatever. So this was during Valentine’s Day. I’ve had nails on in the past for several years I know a good set when I get them I broke two of them right away I put in my jacket on. I called to see if they can fix them and they said yes no problem so I drive 40 minutes away my girls go to Northwestern I thought I’d try someone new since I’m always up there while they started speaking their language I tried to explain to her once again what needs to be done and I felt embarrassed because they kept on coming up and looking at my nails like this was my fault I just said if you would just listen there too flat you need to have a little arch on them or they’re going to break I do own a salon I do understand how nails work mines a hair salon that I own. She said no problem I’ll take care of you she took care of it didn’t charge and I just was so upset because they first off was talking about me and their language which I think is completely rude and I asked them not to do that anymore. I told her that this was not what I wanted I wanted red with one sparkly and she did a white and red which whatever. After leaving the place I said thank you they continue to talk and long behold two more nails break she did not listen to me I asked him I said look at I have an event to go to can you least give me back half my money back I need to get these fixed I have an event on Friday no one called me back no one did anything so now I am going to give them a bad review.I own a salon in Lakeville Minnesota and know how to treat clients they obviously are called a five star but only get a three star review now I’m only going to give them a one I try to be courteous I try to be polite I said let me just have half my money back if not all because I have to get these all taken off and get a new set and please call me back one phone call back. This is not a 5 Star Nail Pl. they could have been a five star if they would have politely giving me back my money since I had to go spend another $55 on a full set and another five dollars to take them off. As an owner of a salon to avoid a bad review I would number one take care of that client and make her happyThat is why I’m giving them one star this could’ve been easily resolved and to make me feel like I was doing something wrong was an excusable and speaking their language like they did I don’t care but that was rude.If they want to call me back and give me my money back I will...

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I called when they were only open for about 40 more minutes, asking if I could do a walk-in pedicure and manicure which "Mai" (I'm so sorry if I spelt that wrong!) was happy to welcome me in. I started out thinking I would do simple acrylic nails, not wanting to have them open late just for little ol' me, but after talking about a few other options she encouraged me to get the variety nails I really wanted and we began to have fun with different designs on each finger!

Only a few minutes later, I was the only customer left in the room and several of the ladies working enjoyed coming over to talk with me or give ideas on the nail designs and colors - she was kind enough to double check each color before applying and even happily corrected if we changed our minds - my nails turned out so unique, I'm OBSESSED!

The entire time, I didn't feel rushed at all and after the pedicure it was at least 30min past close but they were all still so sweet with great customer service and taking their time. I even got to try some homemade fried spring rolls they were making as a holiday lunch in back, they offered me a couple (delicious by the way). My favorite part was that I wanted this little 'sharp/pointed' doodle of a heart on my thumb nail because it's a little trademark of my own and several of the ladies were committed to making it look the way I wanted, bringing over a pen and paper so I could draw it, even redrawing it when it looked upside down at first.

To top it all off - they were proud of their work too :) bringing me up to each person and making sure everyone had seen my nails before I left. I so love that each woman had a different nail that was their favorite. I can't wait to...

The design was creative but she deviated pretty far away from the standard black French tips I asked for. I wanted to be easy going and because she seemed pretty assertive I just didn’t want the conflict. She also was pretty persistent about refusing to do a coffin shape so I folded and went with oval. I just wanted to have a nice time but it seemed like I was being run over. At first glance the look is really nice but there were a lot of mistakes— it felt like she was in a hurry. I loved the clear glitter acrylic but the design and shape were way different. She didn’t do my cuticles at all, which I’ve never had to ask for before. The nails must not have been under the blue light long enough because by the third day they started to peel, which has NEVER happened to me with an acrylic full set. I didn’t have time to go back and get them fixed so I unfortunately had to go over them with regular polish after sanding off the defective gel at home. A $70 (base, before tip) manicure that only lasts 3 days is a rip off. I’m honestly not picky and can fall in love with whatever as long as the quality and customer service are there, but this was not the case which really bummed me out. I will not be returning. I still tipped well because I’m not a nail tech and didn’t want to be snotty, and I set out to have fun and have a good day… but I’m pretty upset about the peeling. I don’t recommend this place unless you’re comfortable taking chances.
