Horrible store with worst customer service. I patronized this store earlier this year to only be followed around by a worker/owner as if I was a no good looking to steal. When I addressed the worker he couldn’t adequately defend himself because he was embarrassed and knew he was wrong. I didn’t look suspicious but he still followed me. This store is awful and I won’t be back!

Owner, nice attempt to try and discredit my review with your reply. Whatever time it happened (which was sometime in November) doesn’t negate the fact that people you hired don’t understand basic service to their patrons. Which speaks volumes about the leadership there just like your sly comment does. Plaza liquor is like your friendly neighborhood pub; when you go in, whoever is there calls you by your first name, they usually know what you're there to buy, at least partly, and if you need something special, Ferris will drop whatever he's doing to give you his undivided and knowledgeable attention. When I have busy days (which always translates to aggravating and stressed out for me), I save my stop at Plaza for the last errand of the day. That way, I always get a smiling, cheerful greeting and a few minutes of friendly conversation to end my day on! Whether you get Ferris, Sal, Ray, Joe, or any one of the great guys who work there, you're treated like a friend they are happy to see. If everyone operated their business the way Ferris does, this world would be a much happier and more pleasant...

Nice guys for the most part, very fast but I wouldn’t call them friendly. I’ve been coming here every other day for over a year and they’ve got a good selection but their focus is your cash. Basic liquor store, they offer check cashing, but I don’t recommend it unless your check is under $150 and you’re desperate. The fee is ridiculously high! If you go less than a mile up the street, you can save your hard earned paycheck and about 3 blocks down you’ll find a friendlier store with the same...
