Ordered furniture online. The store called us Monday because they needed references. No biggie, gave the info and set up delivery for Thursday from 3-6. 5:57 still no sign so my husband calls. They couldn't get ahold of our references, so instead of calling us, they just don't show up. Awesome, I love wasting my day for nothing. We scramble to make sure our references call THEM because no one received a call but our landlord. Friday they come, yay. First they leave my door wide open when they're nowhere near it, and I have pets. They broke a piece of trim on the wall and a light switch. Then they discover the side rails for the bed are broken. Fine, stuff happens. They get everything else inside and are halfway out the door before they inform me that they left everything else in the boxes!! It's supposed to be a week before the new pieces are in! Oh, I can just open one of the boxes, they don't want to set it up because the bed is heavy. Um, what? Shouldn't you check that everything else is in tact? But whatever, they leave, we set it up. Then we realize we didn't get the mirror. I had to check the paperwork to be sure and call them. Well, still no mirror, no call back about the pieces of the bed. We're supposed to just deal with a mattress on the floor until they can find time to call us. If I didn't like the furniture so much, at least the pieces I ACTUALLY HAVE I would send it back....
Read moreI am writing my review to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service I received from Sara and her general manager, Courtney. Due to an unforeseen bank freeze, I missed a single payment, and despite my efforts to communicate and resolve the situation, I was treated as if I had never made any payments at all. I made multiple attempts to reach out via email, but was told these communications were not received. Rather than offering understanding or assistance, the staff repeatedly cited policy and accused me of refusing to communicate or pay, which was not the case.
Throughout my interactions, I felt that my concerns were not being listened to, and I was met with unnecessary aggression when trying to explain. Additionally, I found it extremely unprofessional that there was laughter during our calls, considering the seriousness of my situation. This experience was not only frustrating but also deeply disappointing. I believe that customers should be treated with respect and empathy, especially when circumstances are beyond their control. Read morePaid for a refrigerator on a Tuesday, said they couldn't get it delivered until the following Monday. Monday rolls around and they call needing our landlords number to verify we do in fact live here. Well our landlord calls them and verifies it and so I call back to make sure they talked to her and then they tell me they will reschedule delivery for Friday. I'm sorry but I paid you a week ago and now today, after we've given you everything you asked for, your going to make us wait ANOTHER 4 days!? So, currently waiting on a call back because I said I couldn't wait until Friday. We need a refrigerator and the whole point in going to them, was so we didn't have to spend all of our savings for one. Now, we wish we pretty much had. Not a very happy customer at all. You best believe that once it's paid off we will never go through any Aarons stores again.
