The app for the Belle Vernon, PA location says they’re open just not accepting order ahead. So ya now drive out there on triple star day to find out they’re actually closed. Ya think they’d update the app they’re closed or perhaps they’d notify HQ so they can send out an email or some kind of push notification to regular customers of this location that they’re closed. Instead, you drive to that location to find out they’re actually closed due to plumbing issues. So then as any reasonable customer would do, ya then call customer service and explain to them the app said they’re open, which you checked before you drove you there because ya wanted to order ahead but the app said the location just wasn’t accepting ordering ahead, which is normal for this location. The customer service representative then proceeds to tell ya there’s a telephone number for each location on the app and I should now call the store ahead of time to actually make sure they’re open on a normal business day! Ya gotta love the spectacular customer service from this company!! So now I guess we gotta call the location in which we’d like to order from to see if they’re actually open like they should be on a regular business day. This is a prime example of how Starbucks and its employees know we’re suckers and will never boycott this company or, no matter how rude or much the company and its employees show a lack of appreciation for our business and provide subpar customer service, we’ll continue to pay an astronomical price for a drink with some ice, a bunch of unhealthy sugar syrup and fattening whipped cream, and some of us’ll even pay additional just for non-dairy alternatives, even though dairy is included in the regular price, and we’ll continue to inconvenience ourselves in the meantime at our own expense at...
Read moreMatt threatened to call the cops. Imagine traveling 20 minutes for an average cup of coffee, sitting through a 25 minute drive-through which had a broken ordering screen and no one taking your order over the speaker. “They must be taking orders at the window”, you think, explaining the long line to yourself. You pull up and receive the worst customer experience in your lifetime. “We don’t take orders at the window”. Trying to make sense of the situation, your thoughts are interrupted with “You will need to drive around and order”. “From the broken screen? I tried. But..” You get cut off with the same instruction as before. You now realize people inside are staring at you while you’re grasping for fair equitable treatment as a customer. But you don’t find it. By telling me to drive back around, you’re just telling me I’m not getting coffee. Who spends 50 minutes in a drive through just willingly? So, you get frustrated and offer the ultimatum “I will order on my phone, then.” A vain threat - an act of resistance against a careless power - sends window man into a frenzy. How is he being perceived? How am I being perceived?I wonder. Things don’t cool down - he is out of options. “If you don’t move your car, I will call the cops.” I think through the situation- is this private property? At this point, I’m not wanting coffee that might be spat in, and I have a pretty good life. I shouldn’t let window man win, but I also care about the people behind me. So by driving off, I signal that I can overcome my offenses and not heap them upon society. Starbucks may claim to be friendly in all respects, but what does that even mean if they lack basic courtesy. Back of...
Read moreI visit this starbucks often because it is near my home.
My drink is hit or miss. The customer service is absolutely horrible. The workers acted as if the customers were inconveniencing them. JOSIE and EMMY provided the worst service I had seen in a long time.
While I was working at the table, the workers yelled from the counter "We're Closed". Mind you, the store hadn't closed yet and there were still 20 minutes left
The workers proceeded to yell we're closed to every customer that walked through the door, although the store was not closed yet.
Many of the workers urged another employee to lock the door before the store's closing time, which resulted in them locking someone's child into the store by herself. The child's mother was extremely alarmed and had to beg to be let back into the store.
Multiple customers began telling the workers then were being unprofessional. The workers had upset everyone in the store and ruined the atmosphere.
This is very disappointing because not only do people spend a lot of time there, they spend a lot of money there as well.
Josie and Emmy were the two that were making rude comments and rushing the customers out.
I'm currently waiting to hear from the district manager Lori Faust, and I will update this review following.
Hopefully starbucks will get rid of the people that don't truly enjoy providing customers with good service, or at least train them to treat the customers better. This was an...
