EZPAWN — Local services in Round Lake Beach

Do not use this place for any services and absolutely do not take any of the employees words especially Tanya, as they literally will lie straight to your face. I was asked months ago to leave a review for Tanya because it had been so long since she had one and because up to that point I had received decent service from Gus and Tanya. I obliged and left a nice review.Apparently Gus is no longer working there and although I had been repeatedly informed by both Gus and Tanya that should I falter within a reasonable time period they would absolutely call me before my valuables were put out onto the floor. Well one of my valuables came due December 23rd. Today is December 27th. I called Tanya myself when I noticed my one valuable was no longer on my account it was informed that it has been put out for sale because I defaulted. I told her I was told repeatedly by her and by Gus I would receive a phone call prior to that happening, to now be told it's not their responsibility. I never said it was their responsibility. Gus and Tanya are the ones who repeatedly assured me that I would receive a phone call before my valuables were placed for sale and now I'm being told that that's not their responsibility. But again I never asked they're the ones who constantly told me not to worry about it. I would receive a call. Ironically I have another valuable still there that expired on December 22nd but yet that item was not placed for sale and still is not placed for sale. So I guess it just depends on the value of your item whether it gets put immediately out on the floor and obviously you cannot take the word of these people because they will lie right to your face time and time again. Not only will I never visit this establishment again I will let everybody that I can know what lying unprofessional people are employed there and to go any...

I bought a PS5 slim from them and they gave me a pink controller when it comes with a white controller then I traded them back deck controller because it didn't work and they gave me another pink controller that didn't work either and now it's more than 24 hours and they won't do anything and they just basically steal the white controllers sell them to GameStop and give you a wish controller for that they bought for $10 so they can make another 50 60 bucks per controller they're selling them to GameStop. They are scamming they got a PlayStation pro right now in there they want $15 less than a brand new one and they'll probably give you a pink controller lol ... DO NOT TRUST THEM THEY ARE CROOKS THEY ARE JUST LOOKING TO RIP...

It was a embarresing experience. I could not tolerate the attitude of the person who serviced me. She was not kind at all. She treated me as if I stole the thing i was trying to sell, was going to take it, then went back on it and said no. I never sold to a pawn shop. And i felt bad after the experience she said it was pawn shop policy, but didnt show the policy. I went to another pawn shop and got better treatment and experience. I could care less that she didnt take a item, but I do not like the energy I was getting. My husband had also a terrible experience, with this shop. Please if you going to reject people at...
