Tonight I had my final straw with this Taco Bell. In the past, I have paid for extra tomatoes, and gotten a very lackluster proportion compared to the one in Lindenhurst, especially because I pay extra for them. Also, every time I order the breakfast bowls, my potatoes are burnt. Tonight I went with some friend for dinner, and it will be the last time I return to this location. At multiple locations, I have ordered a 5 dollar box, and upgraded the burrito to a Doritos locos Taco. At Multiple Locations!!!!! Because I prefer hard shell and they got rid of my hard shell taco box. Every time I actually spend probably 7-8 bucks instead of 5 with all my upgrades, meaning Taco Bell is only profiting more off of me anyways, and I don’t mind. Tonight, when I asked, there was not one person who was willing to make this happen. No one was willing to go the extra mile as other locations have. Their excuse was “well there’s not a button for it.” I’ve been a server before and I know for a fact that if someone asks for something that there isn’t a button for you charge a miscellaneous price, whether that be 99¢ or $2. I’m willing to pay that price, but again, no one was willing to even see if that was a possibility or make that happen as many other locations have. They cost themselves 4 dollars tonight, which may not seem like a lot now, but as a person who goes to Taco Bell a lot, those 4 dollars add up. I would avoid this Taco Bell at all costs, from lackluster proportions, to burnt food, to terrible customer service. Go to the Lindenhurst one and save yourself the trouble. I will not return to this location...
Read moreNight shift is loud and obnoxious in the counter and kitchen. Manager there with pink hair was talking very rude to employees in Spanish using foul language. Made it feel uncomfortable especially with customers in the dining area.
They were though fast with making my order with a large group of employees in the back but my bean burrito 🌯 felt under par and was not folded properly.
Tacos 🌮 were okay for one of them and the other was broken due to the meat sagging through the shell.
It got messy just to eat this. But still finished my meal with messy fingers so plenty of napkins were provided in bag for me to clean.
Condiments such as the sauces were good except Diablo sauce which has a kick of spice but the after taste didn't set well.
Area inside seems outdated but gives you that old school taco bell vibes too!
Beverage station was pretty clean.
Not sure how bathrooms are but this place would have been a good experience if it wasn't for the strange conversation the staff had with managers saying foul language in Spanish.
Might have to think twice before coming back to...
Read moreI normally go to the Grayslake for Taco Salad. My favorite but wish cost less.
In compare Round Lake Rollins address, went for first same Taco Salad.... OMG thank you RL Manager. Best in 30 years of eating ataco Salad. To due for yummy. The quality of ingredients awesome, but even better last night, wowow how much ingredients in my salad. Even the taco crunchy bowl, cooked just amount perfect. So much to eat my salad.... I could barely finish.
At Grayslake.... Never again will I buy same salad. I've shopped at least 15 salads there, skimpy ingredients compared to amount of ingredients and ingredients plus how cooked just not the same. Grayslake... Perhaps you could compare amount of ingredients and just improved, such as mush wet salad ingredients.
The Round Lake customer rep when waiting me last night, she was also best ever waited on me.
