Witnessed horrible horrible customer service yesterday. Young lady taking orders ignored the fact that she mistakenly gave a lady’s order to someone else and then accused the lady of pretty much trying to steal chicken because she claimed the person that she gave the order to was with the lady. Not correct. The young lady that works there then went on to fight with the customer who was patiently waiting for her order...instead of apologizing for giving her order away and making her wait longer, she stood there and rudely fought with the customer. Sad. Customer service is horrible. Several customers have complained about the young ladies that work there being incredibly rude and still asking customers for a tip. One review stated “The young lady was rude. She did not do what I asked in my order. I tipped her so at the very least she could’ve been pleasant.” Another review “ Very rude!!! Horrible customer service by the girl in the front taking orders . Doesn’t even greet you when you come in not even a hello. seems angry and so not helpful. Then I waited like 30 min standing their for my order that was not even correct!!! when I told her about my incorrect order she wanted to argue with me for something that was her fault!”
I do hope the owners read this post and walk away with something after reading it... A LOT of first time visitors (just like me) usually read the reviews and based on them, they try out the place. During these hard times, all small private restaurant owners feel honored to be blessed with customers and they focus on hiring good polite personnel to represent their restaurant. This place might want to focus on making...
Read moreVery bad customer service! Rude, arrogant, and lots of bad attitude!! I ordered 1 whole chicken with 2 sides of beans and 1 side of rice for take out. Drove 40 mins back home, opens the food to feed my family and my side orders were 2 of rice and 1 bean. I called and spoke with Ruby Perez and she said to bring in the side of rice and will exchange it for beans right away. I told her I cannot drove back another 40mins and leave my family alone (kids). I asked for the supervisor and she said he will be back until Wednesday. I asked if I can return the rice later today and exchange it for the beans and she said she cannot credit my order (which I wasn’t trying to get a free ride) because it needs to be returned right away. I asked for the name of the supervisor again and she said they will not refund me or exchange if I bring back the rice later today and she cannot give the name of the supervisor as it’s confidential information. What a joke!! I told her it’s not our fault that they took the order wrong and she said yes but cannot credit and cannot give out names of supervisor. We are returning customers and have never been treated like this girl treated us. Confidential...
Read moreI have tried to order birria tacos in the past when visiting on a Friday. I was told it's served only on the weekend. To them this means Saturday and Sunday.
We visited on Saturday and ordered 3 birria tacos. I got a plate woth 3 tacos on it but no consomme. I asked at the counter. The young woman walked in the kitchen. There was a hushed conversation and she eventually returned with a little bit of consomme in a styro cup. One of the other women came up and told me "We don't usually give the consomme with the birria tacos. We'll make a special exception this time."
I have ordered birria all over this country. LosAngeles, Dallas, Houston, most recently in Franklin, KY. It has always been served with consomme. I've never had to ask for it. I am put off by this. El Rey del Pollo Asado makes good tacos, burritos, and charo beans and I'll be back for them. But is there really any reason to order birria if you have to beg for the consomme? I brought this up to a couple of my Mexican colleagues while we were at lunch and they confirmed what I felt. You order birria. You...
