To Geek Squad and Best Buy electronics store: They did not return the charger cord when I picked up my wifes computer. We both called and were on hold for extended periods of time . No cut in by ANY reps to even get a live person. This phone system wont allow any other options to speak to a live person. Initially we were happy with the attention received when dropping off our device but this fiasco erased our feelings. We just bought a house and were going into purchase all new appliances from them however this awful experience has fixed that decision. We purchased the 199.00 geek squad tech services, now I'm considering cancelling that option as well, since they dont honor their services. Bestbuy obviously doesn't care about one little customer, like us m, but we add up. They will care when they end up in the heap pile like all the other companies that have either closed up shop or barely hanging on. And guess what? I'll be around to witness it.
Bestbuy give your customers what they pay for and keep your depts phone lines available by having employees available and present and dont play around your call centers like a shell game. We ( my husband) ended up going into store to retrieve charger. Well low and behold its dissapeared and they question him if he really dropped it with computer service, of course he says. So he had to come back to me empty handed. Needless to say I was fuming. I Marched into store immediately, spoke directly with a manager.

   Read moreThey look for excuses not to repair items under a manufacturer warranty, even as the designated repair center. If you can go anywhere else, don't bother going here, because they actually don't want to help you.
First told me I was wrong and there was no problem with my charger port and tried to send me off within one minute. Then I proved there was an issue charging my phone, and then it was a new excuse.
Long story short, they would not look at my charger port because they said the HEADPHONE jack was corroded. But it was dust. Not to mention it's a water resistant phone that has never been near water.
I wouldn't be so upset if they even pretended to care that I was having an issue. Immediate dismissal and refused to let me talk to a repair tech. Had to pull out a maginifier to show the invisible corrosion (still searching for it... It isn't there)
*UPDATE: After writing this, I took a look under bright light at both jacks. I saw on the headphone pin a piece of green lint. Plucked it out with a pair of small tweezers.
As for the charger port, found a miniscule object in there - like an extremely small pebble. Unwedged it. Charger works perfectly now. These guys don't even try.
If they'd spent half as much time looking at the ACTUAL jack I had an issue with rather than trying to convince me lint in the headphone jack was corrosion, they'd probably have their first good...
   Read moreI was waiting at the geek squad desk, trying to make sure that the DJI mini 4 Pro drone package I bought had everything in it that it was supposed to without actually opening it so that I would not be penalized 15% if I had to return it.
An associate came up to me and asked me if I needed any help, which I did, and he went above and beyond helping me. The DJI box was not very transparent with everything that was included in the package, and the geek squad associate was amazing with his troubleshooting and due diligence. We ended up watching boxing video of the exact product and realized our answer from that.
It was really really cool and I am extremely grateful to have had a customer service experience such as this. The gentleman who helped me had short brown hair, wore glasses, and had some facial hair. I wish I would have remembered his name so that I could give him the credit he deserves. The experience was so personable and helpful, and I ended up learning a lot about the product during it. I’m definitely going to extend the warranty for my purchase at this geek...
