Reducing from 5 stars to 1 star! We went there on a Friday Night and there were hardly 5 people in the restaurant. We should have caught a hint right there. But Oh Boy! I have been to Inchin's in Bay Area and Washington DC and even the Austin one, but by far this experience was the worst! Their Fried Chilli Paneer, a starter i always order had exactly 6 pieces of Paneer slices. Inchin's is known for its Quantity and Quality. 6 slices for 12.99? ARE YOU KIDDING ME! When i asked them about why they reduced the quantity, the person who was serving our table replied, it has always been 6 pieces- you are wrong! Rule of Thumb for any business- YOUR CUSTOMER IS NEVER WRONG. And you can explain it politely. We are paying for the food that we are getting from you. You do not give us our food for free! The service was horrible. We had to flag down the server to refill our water every single time! The food was cold but was tasty! Hence, one star. On a Friday night, one of the employees working there (I assume she was an employee) decided to bring in her family for dinner, Nothing wrong with that. But she walked in and out of the kitchen multiple times also with left over food from their table back into the kitchen. If she was working that night, i would have no issues. But If she is not, it is alarming to see a person with casual clothes and unsanitary hands with her hair not covered walk in and out of the kitchen! Does this management always allow random people into their kitchen? Ever heard of HYGIENE?
PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. AMBIENCE, SERVICE, QUALITY- ZERO!
_______________________________________________________________________Great Food and Great Customer Service. We visited as a gang of 5 people on a Saturday night and we left completely satisfied. The Fried Paneer is a must have for appetizers. We ordered quite a variety of starters and Entrees. All of them tasted good and were served promptly. They gave honest suggestions on what to try based on our tasted and what we like with respect to food generally. They took such good care of us and we were extremely happy.
PS: Try the Date Wontons for Dessert. You...

This is the closest we have come to eating Indo-Chinese food away from India. I coming from Calcutta-where you easily get the most authentic and tasty Indo-Chinese food ever, believe I have a good taste for it.
All previous reviews (2 months or more back) given have been based on the previous owners based in Dallas. I agree the service and food might not have been very good back then but this is a new management and they are taking great care and pains to revive the glory of Indian Chinese food for some of us 'actual Indian' restaurant food-deprived folks here. The new owners have also started a loyalty card program wherein, like all other rewards programs, every time you eat there you will add up points and on reaching a certain goal you will get either appetizers or desserts off, or sometimes 5$ off.
Our go-to order is always Pan-Fried Chilli Paneer, Veg Manchurian and Darsaan but every now and then we will try some of the appetizers.
My only pending issues are:
Other than that, this place really deserves more credit than it's been getting. I felt bad looking at all the reviews since this isn't really reflecting the current scenario and just because the owners are not heavily marketing it doesn't mean it should be represented wrongly.
FYI-I am not related to...
Read moreI came by for a late lunch at around 1:30PM. I was greeted warmly by the owner/operator, Afran Ahmed. The dining area is open and classy without being stuffy or taking itself too seriously.
For my starter I ordered a cup of hot and sour soup. This soup had a subtle warmth that gently followed me bite after bite. This soup had a great texture and mouthfeel. Most restaurants, I find, add more salt to their hot and sour, so that is what i am more accustomed to. Now don't get me wrong, this dish was not lacking salt. However, the gently salted soup allowed me to really appreciate the way the carrots and cabbage were treated. The natural flavors came through wonderfully. The vegetables had a bit of bite and texture but were soft enough to play on the tofu. They fit in so well. My main dish was the Kashmiri lamb curry with rice. For my fellow Texicans out there, let me tell you, if you have not gotten your hands on a nice curry, you're missing out. This beautifully constructed curry came to me in a delightful clay bowl. I was enchanted by it's aroma as soon as the food runner brought it table side. The experience was not unlike that of a good mole. Warm, aromatic and comforting. The lamb, Arfan told me, is fresh. They do not use frozen meats in their establishment. Let me tell you, it shows. The lamb was indeed fresh and tender. Perfumed with all the whole spices and love you could ever want in a bowl of curry. The rice, also perfectly done was the perfect companion. For all my fellow lovers of Texas BBQ and Latino cooking, let me tell you, get in here and get some of this. Or any curry for that matter....
