Halal Bros — Restaurant in Round Rock

Great food! And I mean it, like really, really, really good. The flavor is simply scrumptious. The portions are huge (which works for me... I was able to enjoy my wife's food for another meal... I kinda simply devoured mine in one sitting... which I'm sure my doc would surely advise against).

The ordering process actually worked for me here - it's a tablet and not a human, but that simply allowed me the time to figure out exactly what I wanted and to make all the adjustments I needed to my order.

The food came out crazy hot and in an amount of time that was not noticeably bad, as we were able to simply kick back and chat while we waited. We didn't notice the time but our sense were certainly noticing the delightful smells of all the food.

Quite a bit of business was going on for take out, but we enjoyed the ease of eating there... and I'm glad we did, as I used a lot of the sauces that are available and I would have simply run out of them if we had taken it to go.

This is definitely on our short list for a tasty tasty meal when we are...

My order was mistakenly given to another customer, who opened the food and returned it. Shockingly, the cashier then retrieved a receipt from the trash can, identified the mistake, and placed that same receipt on top of what was supposed to be my order. When I raised concerns, the manager refused to cancel the order, saying he didn’t want to waste the food. He insisted on keeping it in circulation despite the clear hygiene issue. When he noticed I was recording, he suddenly changed his response, agreed to cancel the order, and put the food aside. This is a serious hygiene and food safety issue. Handling food and trash in this manner is completely unacceptable, and the manager’s response was highly unprofessional. Halal Bros is too good of a brand to open a new branch and experience what’s happening. I had to wave down a cook to hand me my order I placed online as it was just sitting in my face and no assistance. Sauces were in the ice bin with drinks but not lids and not behind the counter. No one but the two cooks appeared to be present. I’m not even in my house or tried my food before writing this because I’ve been eating Halal Bros for many years.
