Its hard to get around in for sure...but its unique...its got a 90's family and diversified atmosphere while still in todays names u know for food and entertainment and shopping for all ages and peoples interests...some of the stores are however older...pier one, hobby lobby, world market... Classic and timeless selections...fashion is quality...residential areas are intriguing...and conventions and the hotels that take place in the area are festival and delightful places to stay...its never really packed unless its lunch and dinner...black fridays have spaced out areas of effective shopping but overall it just seems to play up business for the city of round rock or Austin and is hard to get around if your on a major highway looking for it cause your always offramping into 3 lanes to find 15 stop signs to travel behind these buildings, or around this giant business, or this long stretch of road to come down by rawhide and go across to get into it...when none of those other off streets that go...directly...to the shopping center look correct...the ENTIRE area could use more significant sign coverage to direct customers towards their destination QUICKLY AS YOU GOT THROWN OFF 45 AND CAME ACROSS 3 LANES AND TURNED ONTO A ROAD...(i imagine right about there and the first road should be signed with quick direct arrows to how to navigate back to oliver garden and other resturants, stores, then show the residents area as a community...then specially the hotels and business sections all being easily divided...but to quick thinkers their specific goals arent quickly realized by the first intersection...

On Sunday, Dec. 5, at approximately 6:53 p.m., the Taylor Police Department received 911 calls in reference to an injury accident at the intersection of S.H. 95, which is also North Main Street, and Chandler Road.
Officers arrived and found that a black 2015 Toyota four-door passenger car being driven by Dylan Wade Weise, 27, of Taylor, and a 2008 Mototech Motorcycle being driven by Mark Becker, 63, of Taylor, had been involved in fatal collision.
Williamson County Emergency Medical Services and the Taylor Fire Department were dispatched to the scene and attempted life saving measures for the occupants of the motorcycle. Mark Becker and passenger Nancy Becker, 66, of Taylor, were both pronounced dead on the scene by Williamson County Emergency Medical Services.
According to Taylor Police, the investigation revealed that the car being driven by Weise failed to yield the right of way by making a left turn in front of the motorcycle. The investigation further reportedly revealed that âWeise operated the motor vehicle while intoxicated and did by reason of such intoxication cause the death of Mr. and Ms. Becker,â said Taylor Police in a press release.
Officers arrested Weise and charged him with two counts of Intoxication manslaughter, a second-degree felony.
The Taylor Police Department was assisted by the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Williamson County...
Read moreThis is a place you can do a day's worth of shopping and eating without having to leave, similar to the outlets but with more practicality. There are clothing stores like Kohls, Old Navy, and Plato's Closet. You can find a Barnes and Noble, video game stores, and gift shops. Lowe's holds down a corner and the majority of the restaurants (some for quick meals or light treats, others for longer sit-down meals) are located along a central run to an exit drive.
The two downsides I've noticed over the years are the traffic flow when busy and the condition of the parking lot in several sections. Texas has that awful mud layer that shifts constantly in this area and it shows. Some sections of the lot are in obvious need of leveling while others you only notice when it rains because you might lose your shoes in the puddles/pools. Beware low clearance cars! The traffic flow is impeded by a roundabout that most people seem to drive through at top speed, ignoring the yield signs. There are also multiple exits that get backed up by hesitant drivers attempting to turn onto the frontage roads that border La Frontera.
But when you want to go to several stores and get some good food without crossing town La Frontera has you...
