Ishnae & Co. — Local services in Rowlett

Short version: I used Ishshah and Renee for my trial and events. They are amazing, attentive, patient, punctual, and super talented! Their work exceeded all expectations and looked great hours later. They seemed to actually care to make you happy without any diva-like attitude. If you want to more details, please keep reading.

Long version: I have super sensitive skin and very uncooperative hair. I've been on medication for my skin for over 10+ years. Every other time I've had my hair done in the past, the curls would fall apart after an hour. Needless to say, I needed a team that was willing to be super patient with me. I booked a trial to see how things would go.

Weeks before, their team asked for specific details about all my skin issues, and patiently responded to all my questions. It was clear they really wanted to make this work. Prior to the trial, they gave me a list of brands they use. I was able to play with the products at Sephora well in advance to ensure no reactions. At the trial, Renee wrote down all the products she used. The team followed up with me after, and thankfully no reactions! Also, I forgot to bring my hair extensions but Ishah somehow still made my hair look amazing! 5+ hours later when I came home, the curls were still in tact, in my real hair! I was thoroughly impressed with how I looked and how things held up.

For my wedding, they showed up slightly early and we got started right away! Again, totally blown away by what they produced. I showed some Pinterest inspiration pictures and what I got was wayyyy better than Pinterest. Renee, also brought her notes with her from the trial so we could use all the products she knew I wouldn't react to. These ladies are very thorough and very caring. An aunty was supposed to help me get ready, but she never showed up. Ishah and Renee kept me calm throughout the entire ordeal, and stepped up to help in any way they could.

For the reception, they completely removed everything and started from scratch. I have actually heard of artists just adjusting what they have already done but still charging a ton. Ishah and Renee are legitimately giving you full looks each time. Again, they were on time and finished on schedule. Like the trial, the curls and hair stayed put! This time, I remembered my extensions :)

Ishnae & co provided brow classes by the Queen of brows herself Renee Rivera. This class taught us a very unique technique called Nano Strokes & Shading by Renee. It was such an amazing, beautiful & very informative class. They made us feel very comfortable & caring of our needs. She made sure not to miss anything with us. She broke down every little detail from the lectures, hands on experience & visual images. The lectures were as informative as possible, also giving us a b binder full of info that we needed to know & not to forget. Not only did Renee & ishnae team provided us with so much information, they also gave us a full bag with a start up kit. Renee help identify every piece of equipment provided in the bag, & also show us how everything worked. From the mapping with the stencils & makeup pencils to showing us how beautiful the pigments blend to showing us how to setup with our machine & how it works. I could go on & on about this class!! It was an amazing experience & not only that, but she was so humble & a real true beautiful person in & out. The ishnae team are really good people, they truly take care of you! Renee and her team are beyond amazing. Honestly I don’t even know where to start. I took Renee’s brow course August 2021 and for it to have been her first class I have to say she really put her all into it. She is so sweet and soooo patient. Her class provides all the material you need to get started. I loved how she explains everything in full detail from start to finish . She always made time for her students no matter what time of day . Another thing provided with her course is a six month guided assistance in which she’ll answer any questions you have along the way and provide feedback on your work. Renee gives you a lot of in depth information and is very transparent when it comes to the industry . We were spoiled with her as an instructor/ mentor because not only did she provide lots of goodies at her class but she also would have challenges in which we could win goodies such as pigments, practice skins, and even time with her to practice in person.
