I've seen these types of places before. It's basically a front for the whole Herbalife concept. You are given a coupon for 1/2 off a shake and it still costs $6.50 before a tip. So full price you are at a $13 hit for a powdered drink.

I understand it's all associated with weight loss and health but IMHO, it's just another way the diet industry is out to make a buck. In this case lots of them. I don't have any problem with an honest living, but $13 for a powdered shake? Seems awfully steep to me. Of course I got the pitch about making money part time, etc... If you didn't know, Herbalife is just another network marketing company. I've been down that road several times only to find it ends up nowhere.

I had a small chai tea with mandarin aloe and a pomegranate lifter, and it was not only delicious, but also very healthy, energizing, and filling. I've also been informed that the shakes are amazing as well. If I was rating this place on a scale of 1 to 10 based on the healthiness of the products, the taste of the drinks, the attitude of the workers, the feel of the place, and the overall experience, I'd have to rate it a 10. The shakes are amazing, and they happen to be healthy too. I thought the prices were high until I considered what I spend at that popular coffee shop... and really I prefer the offerings here. You get a tea and shake combo when you go here. The tea is good, but the shake is what I go for. The banana nut bread shake tastes like banana nut bread! So good. The staff are friendly...
