Fantastic experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was fresh, delicious, and served quickly. Great flavor in the broth and I went with the meatball as it’s my favorite version of pho. The meatballs were big delicious chunks of beef. Tender and yet slightly chewy, they had the perfect consistency and amazing flavor.
Sriracha and hoisin sauce are on the table, and the bowl is served with the usual dressings for pho (fresh lime, jalapeño, bean sprouts, Thai basil). Cilantro and onion is already loaded in the bowl. I was very happy with the size of the bowl for the price. I got a large for $10 and I couldn’t even finish it.
Now the boba... I like the classics so I went with the Thai tea with boba. The taste was great and the boba was chewy and delicious. They serve it in a proper cup (two sizes available) with a sealed lid. Most of the pho places around here give you a small cup, so it was nice being able to get a large and have enough to not need a second one by the time my food came out. Very happy with my choices and experience... can’t...
Read moreI can’t comment on their food since both times I’ve been in the mood (and gone out of my way to drive to this restaurant specifically) I haven’t been able to eat here. The first time was a Tuesday at lunchtime and I showed up to learn that they are closed on Tuesday. No big deal, I went to Rumdoul instead. Then a few weeks later, I went out to get my family dinner. It was 635p on Sunday. I ordered an appetizer, two entrees (a rice plate and a noodle plate) and a child sized pho. After ordering, the young man at the register went in to the kitchen and then came to tell me they turned the grill off already and could only do soups. My husband specifically didn’t want soup that day for whatever reason, so on my way out, I checked the open times on the door. They weren’t closing until 8P. What restaurant makes half of their menu unavailable for 1.5 hours before closing? Hopefully someday I get to have a meal here, and I hope it’s delicious enough to make up for being...
Read moreUpdate: this has become our favorite spot for pho. Our girls love the pork vermicelli. And we love trying new boba teas. The staff is always friendly. It’s one of our favorite places to come for dinner.
Original review: Went here with my family for dinner. It was great. My husband got the 3p (pho meatball and steak) and loved it. I got the 8p (pho brisket). It was good but the star for me of the night was the grilled pork I ordered for my kids. Next time I'd try the bun pork just get more of that yummy grilled pork. We also tried the 1a (shrimp and pork spring roll). It was fresh and delicious and we really enjoyed the peanut sauce it came with.
My kids love noodles, so I took some from my pho and mixed them with the brown sauce on the table. What a hit! They went to town finishing off the noodles from my pho. I've even included a pic of my youngest enjoying for your laughing pleasure. Lol
We also each got a boba tea and...
