Taco Bell — Restaurant in Rowlett

The last several times I have gone to this location the service is always slow. Usually I go through the drive thru, but after the last two trips and waiting 15 minutes minimum each time for no more than 3 cars ahead of me, I went inside this most recent time. Now I understand why they are so slow. There were maybe 4 people working in the kitchen, 2 of which were just sitting down like they had nothing better to do and there was no one waiting. Whenever they did move, there was no sense of urgency. People were literally getting out of the drive thru and walking in to order and were being told inside that “something was wrong with their system” — that was obvious from the inside and it didn’t look to be the computer system. The two people in front of me received incorrect items in their orders and had to come back in and get it corrected. I checked my order before leaving, mainly just to see if I had the correct items. Upon getting home, the order was still wrong — we asked for some things to be made without this or that and they had put it on there — and some of the tacos were soggy - we live maybe a mile from the location and went straight home. I get that most of these working there are teens and it may be their first jobs, but at least act like you care and develop some type of good work ethic. I don’t think we will be spending any more time or money at this location and will just opt for Taco Bueno just across the street...

If you are vegan or vegetarian I would not recommend Taco Bell at all. At least not this one. They do not care about us and our requests. I have ordered multiple times with this restaurant hoping they would get my order right at least once. I order the same very few vegetarian item and request for them to be vegan. Which is a very easy task, removing cheese and sour cream to do so. The times I did order and asked for it to have no cheese or sour cream, my order was ruined and sometimes completely off. I’ve received a burrito with actual meat. I don’t know how a person can confuse veggie burrito with their regular ones. I feel that it is simply because they don’t care enough about their vegan& vegetarian customers to actually listen to our simple requests. I wish for once I could have enjoyed my meal from here. I’m a vegan and also lactose intolerant so cheese is a no go for me. Even with specific instructions they continued to put cheese, sour cream and other non vegan/dairy products. I hope none of my fellow vegans will eat at this location. You would be better off going to taco cabana in garland or mesquite. I know it’s a bit of a stretch but they have beyond meat and have never ruined my orders or given me...

If I could give this location no stars I would. I came to the drive thru between the times of 12 and 2. The employee at the window was rude immediately once she came onto the speaker. Their food is never fresh and I guess she was upset because I asked for fresh potatoes. I asked because Other times I didn’t ask I basically got PLAYGROUND WOODCHIPS. The potatoes have always been hard. After ordering my food I got to the window and she was still rude. She was a Hispanic woman I’m not sure of her name Once she handed me my food she immediately said “ now can you move up I have another order” I pulled around to the front to check my food and the food was completely wrong. I went back inside to see about changing my food out for the correct items and I spoke to the African American lady about it I believe she was some kind of manager and she was looking at me crazy as if I was the one who messed up the food. After “fixing” the food I checked the food again and once again something was wrong with the item after she TOLD me that it was correct. The employees here are terrible and rude. The service is trash especially during the day time. I wouldn’t recommend this Taco...
