I'm sooooo happy Barnes & Noble is back in my town!! It's now located next to Dsw and Ulta on Rt 10 Succasunna. It's so nicely done I actually like this set up than what it was many years ago. The service since of course it's the grand opening was super welcoming. It felt like there was more of a selection of books. My favorite spot is the reference and travel and they had way more of a book selection. I hope they maintain the store as nice as it is now. My daughters are reading a bit more now that they are older, so the annual premium membership is worth it. You get 10% off purchases. The little toys and tchotchkes may still not be as worth to buy there because they're a bit on the expensive side, but Barnes & Noble miscellaneous items are always on the expensive side. This Store doesn't have a cafe but had 2 seats near the Manga section. While I was there I noticed a line of people. They were getting autographs from the Weird NJ authors, there were 2. Overall I'm happy the store is back in our town. Check it out tell me what you think! Enjoy!!

Great to have Barnes and Noble back in Roxbury. The big hold up was Coffee , if Barnes and Noble could serve Starbucks? That would be No, since there is a SB 100 yards away. Don't let that deter you because they have improved the store in every way with countless new sections of books, games and other hobby items. Store layout is welcoming. Take a break from your Phone and wander through the wealth of knowledge that awaits

I work within the community and this location is one of our favorites to visit as a day activity. They do have book signings and events as well. Staff are helpful, the assortment of books to read are amazing and the vibe of the place is great enough to test run the book yourself before you buy. I found a few books šŸ“š-this was my sci-fi choice to read.. Overall, B&N is the only place I visit for my books and essentials!

Got to visit the newly open store when we're in New Jersey was there doing a magazine signing. They were having some special events here too such as free bags, but unfortunately they were only for the customers that had the deluxe membership everyone else had to pay. That's why you lost the star because you wouldn't give out a free bag on your grand opening to everyone. Not a good thing to cheap out on something so...... cheap.

Otherwise the new setup for the stores looks a lot different than the old stores. You may like this you may not like this that will be a matter of opinion. Store seems ultra clean now which some people may not like as much.

Bookstore well organized in fact it seems like they're more organized than they were before with sections rather than rows of books that end with more rows of books in a different category.

Update 12/15/24: Added a star. There are now more books on technology in the science section! However, for a much larger, more comprehensive selection, Go to the B&N in Morris Plains.

The store is very attractive and the staff helpful, however anyone looking for books on computers and technology will be very disappointed, as there is no section for them and virtually no books on those subjects. Even the science section is very sparse, and the business and reference sections have little to nothing on the subjects. This is not typical of other B&N locations and unfortunately, it makes this location no better than a ā€˜Books-a-Million’ to me. I hope that this is not a trend. I realize that retailers need to maximize sales, but to not devote even one small shelf to these subjects in a huge store filled with pop-literature is a disservice...
