La Gratella Pizza & Restaurant — Restaurant in Roxbury Township

Normally Gratella’s is decent and dependable. Last night though I placed an order for delivery, a large plain pie, meat lovers and we decided to try the chipotle chicken pie. Also, a large bottle of coke. The delivery guy showed up in a reasonable time frame. The bill was $75 and I tipped him $10. I realized when I brought the food in that he had forgotten the Coke. I ran out and he said nobody told him. I told him that it’s right here on the bill, go back and get or go buy a cold bottle with that $10 tip. Waiting for him, I opened the chipotle pizza. It did not smell right as soon as I opened it. I tasted it anyway and yes, pretty rancid. My son insisted on trying it, a 22 year old that eats everything and anything, one bite and he spit it out. I threw the whole pizza in the trash. I called to speak with the manager but the girl said he would call me back. Here it is the next day, still no call so now I am writing this review. The other 2 pizzas were nothing to brag about, usually much better quality. I am disappointed with Gratella’s and most likely will not use them again even though I have used them for a few years now. The soda did come and I did tell the kid to take responsibility for his actions, just like I thought his manager would. Well, at least...

We order from here all the time never had a problem. We ordered a large cheese pie and an order of fried calamari.. Nothing was cooked and we live around the block.. When I called the first time the girl said we were busy(not an excuse why it’s not cooked).. Second time I called to talk to the manager he said well he doesn’t understand calamari is complicated. And the pizza he doesn’t get what I mean by not being finished.. It was complete dough.. He asked me if I wanted another pie I told him no.. So he told me next time to remind him he’ll give me a discount and for me to tell them that I want my pie crispy.. sorry 😣 not feeling good about this and now...

Stopped in for slices. Purchased three different kinds of slices from three different pies. All were the same in common. Burnt beyond belief and they were not that they way when I ordered them but when you stand there for 15 minutes waiting for precooked slices to heat up and it only takes 12 minutes or so to cook a fresh pie that's what I should have expected, burnt. The pizza was flavor less. Cheese all dried up and sauce chunky and almost sweet? Dough so burnt that could not eat the crust without breaking a tooth. Order three slices took two bits from each one threw them out. Will not be back wasted 8.50. I had to buy another lunch from...
