Leon Kislen, Richard Stephens, Scottie Blair, Alvie Tucker and the service techs Berry Gribbins and Brian Hammond show care and concern for you and want to help you fix any troubles you feel you may have with your vehicle. They go beyond one's expectations of vehicle service. They treat your vehicle like it was their own. On April 2022 a concerning issue suddenly came upon my 2016 Silverado W/T, Scottie Blair the Service writer told me first and foremost it is the thermostat. Alvie Tucker the Service Mgr made sure I was able to get the truck in as soon as I could. Richard Stephens confirmed he had this part in his stock supply. Leon Kislen confirmed I'm in good hands while Barry Gribbins did the vital repair. All these guys worked together to get a job done, a vehicle repaired, for you to continue in your daily life. If you didn't have this crew to help you, where would you be? If your vehicle wasn't repaired properly, again where would you be? 2nd to God Your vehicle is your livelihood; if you do not have your vehicle, if you do not have the elite crew of Don Franklin Russell Springs making sure your vehicle is safe, no one except God knows where you'll be. If you are looking to purchase a new vehicle or a used vehicle, see Blake Miller, Derek Dobbs, Bobby Johnson and Paul Taylor for your newer vehicle needs. Each one will...
Read moreIt appears from other reviews that Don Franklin, Russell Springs is doing something right, but I just cannot agree. My recent service experiences in mid march on my car were very frustrating. Had I follow the original assessment of the reason my backup camera stopped working would have cost me over $1,500. Rather than follow the mechanic so called expert advise, I did a little homework of my own. I made a few phone calls and fortunately I was able fine and speak with some genuinely honest and knowledgeable technicians who told me what to check. A second visit to Don Franklin yielded better results. After sharing with the service manager that my backup lights were also not working, further diagnosis revealed a bad control module. I expressed my frustration of the ordeal that I had to go through and mostly what I got is excuses and people do make mistakes. I was a Customer Service Manager for over 20 years. I learned early in my career that most people would rather hear "We made a mistake, we're sorry and we're going to make it right." I could be wrong however because I have heard several times lately that people do...
Read moreI've always had a great experience there, for service (on my 2015 Sierra). Each time, they are punctual, efficient, and friendly. And the waiting area is always pleasant.
They even save me money: first, their price on an oil change is usually less than the coupon price in the GMC magazine. And they even matched the Costco price for a set of 4 new tires--and I got a GMC rebate on top of that. But even more honorable is this:
On that most recent service visit (getting the tires and a recall item done at 50k miles), I asked them to take a look at my brakes since there was a discount coupon on pads in that magazine (and 50k is a normal life for pads, like the tires I was replacing as well).
When all was done, they reported that they'd not bothered because the brakes were almost as good as new. OK, that means I drive like a grandma. But plenty of shops would have done the work anyway, so more...
