Anytime Fitness — Local services in Russellville

Do not work out here. This place has gone downhill since the former staff left. The paper towel machines to wipe down the equipment are regularly out, people constantly don't re-rack their weights and the staff does nothing, one of the staff that works there was talking so loud when I was there the other day that I could barely focus on my workout. She was practically yelling. The old sense of community you used to feel is now gone with these new owners. And, if you need to get out of your contract you won't be able to do it even with a good reason. We worked out there for years and loved this gym, but then had a baby and couldn't work out much. For well over two years our card was charged and we didn't show up which means they got free money. And even though we didn't need the membership and the old owner told us we could cancel our contact if we wanted to and he would work it out, we decided to keep it charging because we want to support him and this local businesses. We need to cancel our contracts now because we ended up just building a home gym. Even with us fulfilling our contracts in times past, never missing a single payment for 3+ years, wiping down our equipment when done, building strong relationships with the former staff, we were told they can't cancel us out, even if we were willing to pay a cancellation fee. We either have to pay the entire amount which is thousands of dollars or nothing. I told them that they are free to stand by their standard operating proceedures and I am free to tell everyone I know to not work out there and also never sign up again. This is why businesses close, they want to hang on to every penny just to save a few memberships. So, yeah, don't even think about joining this gym. They'll squeeze every penny out of you and then some. There are plenty of other places that actually appreciate their members and won't trap you in a sweat-prison contract. Go...

Anytime fitness has the basic equipment for basic workouts. In just the one year that I’ve been with them, I’ve seen two different managers and four different trainers come and go. They can’t seem to keep employees. Not only that but there contract is a scam, taking $28 dollars every other week for below average gym equipment. When my contract ended, I had to go in to cancel the payments because they keep charging you even after the contract ends. One month later I’m still being charged $28 dollars. This company advertises wanting to provide customer satisfaction, but all they really care about...

Incredible gym! In town for the weekend with my wife and sad we only got to get one workout here... I’ve been to several anytime fitness gyms across the country and this was one of the best! Very clean ... very updated... tons of variety with equipment ... everything you need ... free weights... newer machines... stair master treadmills bikes and elliptical ... 6/5 start!
