A.W. Van Winkle & Company has stooped to cold spamming Bergen County (and other) residents. They must have acquired a fairly accurate consumer database/list from somewhere, down to cell phone numbers. Now Nicole and team have begun spamming unsuspecting home owners. They send a text message out of the blue that says "Hi, is this ? If you wonder who's messaging you, and respond with "who is this?" she has a live confirmation and will hook you no end with spam, email and phone calls :( Nicole and team also send unsolicited emails with headers like "Did you just list your House?". Of course if you even click that email, they'll have a live confirmation of who you are and hook you and hound you no end. Basically they have taken the Art Of Spamming to the next level. The result is that we would NEVER do business with A.W. Van Winkle & Company. Getting consumer mailers via USPS mail is one thing, but personally spamming us on our cell phones and email is simply not acceptable. It immediately creates a STRONG NEGATIVE RESPONSE towards these people who think they are being smart. It is crossing a line and they are pushing beyond individual privacy once they hit personal cell phones. This is NOT the same as receiving junk messages in email. SCAM ! Horrible experience with this branch and specifically Jamie Libisi. Like the market isn’t in rough enough conditions as it is but to be terribly rude and unprofessional with interested tenants is unacceptable. She was too busy in her phone to even walk me through the listing but couldn’t answer basic questions I had. Besides that, she couldn’t handle simple math and told me the listing was no longer available when it’s clearly still listed online. Save your money on those credit applications as this place seems to only want to scam their clients who are desperately looking for a new home, and low balling the listing just to get you interested enough to tell you that you better bid ‘x’ amount higher to even be considered as an applicant. I don't typically write reviews, but I just had to take a moment to share my thoughts on Cora and the amazing job she did when helping us buy our first home.
