I remember visiting this Thai restaurant a year ago. I hate to leave a bad review since the nice Thai woman was so nice and sweet when I had called in and picked up to go food. The nice Thai lady who was the hostess and cashier was very welcoming to me and took care of me right away and I was in and out in a flash. There was no one inside the restaurant at that time I was there, but the restaurant was very fancy and upscale and I loved it! The interior of the restaurant was beautifully decorated and I remember having a conversation with the nice waitress about their decorations and how long they have been open. So anyways I just ordered a large too yum soup with noodles to go and I remember ordering a large. When I brought it home, I noticed I was given a tiny puny little container of Tom yum soup and I had paid $12 for this soup! Way overpriced and I felt slightly cheated out of my money. This plastic container was half the size they give you at a normal Thai restaurant. The container was for a small soup but I had ordered a large. I should of checked before I drove off and demanded my money back if I ended up knowing that this was their large. That’s a first time in my life where I’ve felt cheated out of my money like that. I just wish I had taken a picture to show you guys. I paid $12, that’s including tax for a small minuscule portion of Tom yum soup. I was clearly upset but since I live 20 minutes away from the Arden area, I didn’t want to drive all the way back to get a refund so I dealt with the loss and bad soup. The soup itself and flavor unfortunately was horrible and disgusting. This was the worst Tom Yum soup I’ve ever had and I’ve had many in my 25 years of life. The broth was way too sweet and all I tasted was sugar, there was no spice and zing to it, it needed lime and some acidity. I remember also seeing the inside of the Tom yum and all the ingredients weren’t in there and the broth just killed the flavor of the soup and made it a sugary brothy soup. This Thai restaurant doesn’t even know how to make Tom yum soup which is a real big bummer. It tasted nothing like Tom yum because it needed the correct ingredients. Sadly this place fell short to my liking and the price point and way off portion sealed the deal of me never wanting to return. Again the people working there are nice and the Thai waitress woman working there was as sweet as can be so I feel really bad here for leaving this review but it needed to be shared. I’d say avoid this place because it isn’t authentic Thai food and keep...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Thai Terrace in Sacramento, CA, and I must say, it was a delightful culinary experience that left me craving for more. This restaurant offers both convenience and quality, with a location that is easily accessible and plenty of parking available.

From the moment I stepped into Thai Terrace, I was greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance. The tasteful decor and comfortable seating create an atmosphere that is perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant's attention to detail in creating a pleasant environment truly enhances the overall meal.

The staff at Thai Terrace deserves special mention for their exceptional friendliness and attentive service. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine desire to ensure our dining experience was memorable. The staff members were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations, further adding to the enjoyment of our visit.

During my lunch visit, I opted for the cashew with veggies dish from their lunch specials, and it was a flavor-packed delight. The combination of fresh vegetables and perfectly cooked cashews created a delightful texture and taste profile. The dish was expertly seasoned, allowing the flavors to shine through without overpowering one another. Each bite was a symphony of taste, leaving me thoroughly satisfied.

The exceptional service continued throughout our visit, as the staff attentively catered to our needs, ensuring our glasses were never empty and promptly attending to any requests we had. The attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction was evident in every interaction, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable.

In conclusion, Thai Terrace in Sacramento, CA, is a hidden gem that should not be missed by Thai cuisine enthusiasts. The convenient location, ample parking, and inviting ambiance create a comfortable and accessible dining destination. The delicious cashew with veggies lunch special I savored was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor. The attentive and friendly staff further enhanced our visit, making us feel valued as guests. I wholeheartedly recommend Thai Terrace and eagerly look forward to...

Generally has very good food. I only stop by here for takeout but every time I come, the staff is attentive and my food is ready on time. Restaurant always looks beautiful and neat but I haven't made time to dine in yet. I'm only disappointed with my recent order where I purchased the 3 spicy flavor fish, and for once, selected "Medium Spicy" which somehow equates to pineapple being added to my food??? It usually only comes with the fish, sauce, and red and green bell peppers (when I order "Hot Spicy"). I was actually very upset when I realized that there were unexpected pineapple chunks when I opened up the container (fortunately, I'm not allergic but the food tasted supremely mediocre because the sweetness ruined any mild spicy flavor I could have enjoyed. yuck.) I've been having a poor appetite over the past month and have been selective of my food choices and thought medium spicy fish would satisfy me for a meal but consuming... Sickly sweet fish.. did not help me eat at all and I couldn't finish it. I may be overreacting, but I really feel like a restaurant should stay true to the listed ingredients unless otherwise requested by customers.

(I'll still return but I think I'll have to ask more closely since the listed ingredients...

This place is amazing!! I’ve gotten take out and eaten in and both times the food was delicious with big portions. It’s usually pretty empty in the restaurant, but we’ve gone relatively late at night, usually around 8:30 or 9. It’s also got BEAUTIFUL decor and we had great service! We got the fried sweet potatoes to start, and they were just out of the fryer — so crispy and hot and good. However, the standout was the sweet chili sauce they came with. Literally the best sweet chili sauce I’ve ever had. Not sure if it’s house made or bottled, but either way it’s amazing. When we got takeout, we got the crab cream cheese wontons, and those were amazing as well. I got the pad see ew (picture attached) and my boyfriend got the drunken noodles. We both loved our food! My boyfriend opted for the extra hot option right below Thai hot, and it was plenty spicy for him (he usually gets Thai hot anywhere we go). Overall I totally recommend! Works great as takeout too.
