ALDI — Local services in Safety Harbor

Aldi's is great! I usually go to the one on Sunset Point, but I 've also shopped at the one in New Point Richey. Nothing in the store is brand name, so if you are picky about that then Aldi's is not for you. They mainly sell their own brand, Simply Nature. The main savings comes from packaged goods and frozen foods. They have healthy choices - including meatless products (frozen meatballs and burgers), veggie pasta and non-dairy milk and cheese. The brand of fair trade coffee that they sell is also pretty good and it's very reasonably priced. I've found some decent produce there, but it's not their strong point. Paper products, bottled water, seltzer water and juices are all good purchases for the price. I do not care for their brand (Dakota) of canned beans. I don't think their wine and beer is worth it either - I just don't like the brands and won't usually purchase them. I LOVE their Vegan Burgers (the grilled flavor) and their Meat-less Balls. Their humus, pasta, spaghetti sauce, pizza crusts and jars of olives and pickles are all good and I purchase them regularly. This is my favorite local Aldi location! It's always extremely clean and very well stocked. Really friendly staff. Today I had to return the sirloin tips that were bought in the refrigerated section. I've had a few of their different items including the burnt ends and the Korean barbecue chicken. The sirloin tips were just not right when I opened the package. I went ahead and returned them this morning apologetically, however the amazing manager Jessica was so sweet and understanding and asked me specifics so she could let the company know which is the right thing to do and I was ready with all of the information she needed. I was not really aware of the generous return policy there. She graciously refunded the cost and offered to replace the item.. she allowed me to choose some other items instead that were not refrigerated since I would not be going home for a few hours. Absolutely excellent customer service and a store that cares about you. I've been going there for years and I've never had a problem with anything. Aldi is a great store and getting better all the time. The more Organic they ad the more they become my go to store. Great prices on the organics. I get organic bananas, tomatoes, cereal, spinach, granola. They private label , so for example their store brand Millville Chex cereal is Chex cereal. Their brand of weaved wheat cracker is actually Triscuit . Great prices on avocado. Their milk says they have no hormones-- lets hope its true. 2.99 instead of 3.99 .They have many health food items. They have Kefir. They also have a gourmet refrigerator section that has rotating gourmet items . They have a section of rotating "seasonal" household items. I wish they would get the pretzel bread they have more often. I like their chip selection.. pita chips are my favorite. The "center section" of the store is household stuff and pet food.. canned goods-- I cant comment on that too much . I shop the outside rim of the store. Bring a quarter for your cart , which will be returned when you return your cart. Bring your own bags to pack your groceries. You can use a debit card or cash , no credit cards. GREAT PRICES Aldi...
