(BEWARE! CUTS IN MY EYE AND BURST BLOOD VESSELS!) Last week I went in for a full new set of eyelashes. My friend had recommended the place so it was my first time. I booked for volume set but showed reference pictures to the lady (Yeimy) on what I wanted (which was a less thicker volume more natural volume). When we started the first eye I noticed it was stinging alot and my eyes were watering non-stop. I asked her if this was normal and she brushed it off and said itās normal to feel some irritation for sensitive eyes. She was playing her music loud and was very quiet and didnāt say much to me. As time went on I noticed it was taking longer than usual. Every time I asked her if she was almost done she would give me false estimation of time. The whole time my eyes were stinging and in pain and watering profusely but I was thinking to myself āat least they will come out good and it will be worth all this painā. When I tell you this lady took 2 hours long on one eye. When I sat up she let me go to the bathroom and when I looked in the mirror I started crying and having a panic attack. My eyelashes were very very thick and were not balanced at all to my eye shape and looked very distasteful. I also noticed my eye was inflamed and red and it was hard to blink. When I came out of the restroom they offered to take them off and said it would be 10 mins, 35 mins later Iām hyperventilating and crying from the pain and they still cannot take the lashes off fully. The lady said āOh the glue is fresh so itās taking longer to remove themā. I asked for a to go removal to take with me and told them I would remove the rest at home since I had already been there for almost a total of 3 hours at this point. I have gotten my eyelashes done before in the past and never have they taken that long or hurt before. When I left they did not seem apologetic at all and seemed as if it was myself overreacting. The next day my boyfriend could see cuts in my eye and burst blood vessels from when I left their establishment. I struggled to drive home after the fact since my eye was in so much pain and at that point I was in a full blown panic attack after sitting there in pain for so long. Now itās been a week and my eye is finally back to normal. I strongly advise against this business and will be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been meaning to leave a 5 star review for Loft 804 for a while but my experience last week really reminded me to do it.
Iāve seen Sofia for lash extensions a few times and she was great. We spoke about what I was looking for and she explained my options and what might work best. More recently I had my first appointment with Maria last week. The lashes looked pretty good but were not exactly what I wanted. When I woke up the next morning I realized what specifically looked different about it for me and I just wanted to take them off. I contacted them and they wanted to know what exactly I didnāt like, to see if they could make adjustments to solve the issue instead of entirely removing them. Which is completely reasonable. They also tried to accommodate me for a removal or adjustment.
I didnāt end up going back to remove them because of timing. But I wanted to mention this because they were pretty straightforward and professional about the situation. They even explained some things about the lash length that I didnāt even realize. They are licensed and experienced with this and I appreciated the information.
Itās awesome when a lash tech can do great work around such a sensitive area as your eyes. Itās even better when theyāre also kind and professional when youāre not completely satisfied with how things turned out.
Thanks...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo I came here for my birthday to get a facial and ultimately to establish a relationship with an esthetician. The process to make an appointment was easy and the place was clean and Sofia was very inviting! However, three starts because there were somethings that caused me not to want to come back. First, she didnāt have me take off my shirt, which resulted in 1) my neck not getting any treatment and 2) my shirt got wet. Also, she did not talk to me at all about my skincare concerns. Didnāt explain the treatment that she applied or why she chose that treatment for my skin. Did not recommend any at home treatments. I had to ask her at the end what she used. It was a basic facial, nothing spectacular, could have gone anywhere to get that. Which I am reading from the other reviews is not her standard, so that is even more disappointing. Not sure why I didnāt receive the same great service. Wish this business...
