This was our first time making it to this sub shop and we’ve lived in the area for a long time. The food was amazing - the Italian subs were fresh.. the meatball sub was the talk of the trip. The Cuban was a little meh. The subs were very tasty.. but for the price there could have been more meat. Just speaking for a place where we’ve been to a lot of sub places from commercial to smaller locally owned. This place has been here a while so I understand they are remodeling but I didn’t want to look too close to the back of house.. it looks very dirty back there. The staff was super friendly as well. Read moreI USED TO GO TO SUNSET SUBS ALL OF THE TIME UNTILL THE GUY THAT DOES ALOT OF THE COOKING, DECIDED TO COOK MY BLT SANDWICH THE WAY HE FELT LIKE IT. I ASKED FOR REALLY CRISPY BACON AND WHAT I RECEIVED WAS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING CRISPY. IN FACT I'M NOT SURE THAT IT WAS COOKED WELL ENOUGH OR LONG ENOUGH. I'VE BEEN GOING HERE FOR A REALLY LONG TIME. BUT I WILL NEVER EVER GO HERE AGAIN. I DON'T NEED ALL OF THE AGGRAVATION. Read moreI ordered from Sunset Subs through Uber Eats. When I received my order, they made the whole thing wrong - included their seasoning when I asked them not to. They blamed the whole thing on Uber, even after I confirmed that my instructions were clearly on the order. The woman on the phone said it was probably just "habit" that had them putting the seasoning on my order. Habit shouldn't be superseded by a customer's request - that's just lack of attention to detail and laziness. Uber didn't make the food, they just delivered it, yet I'm stuck with an order that I clearly didn't request. I used to enjoy going to this place. I will never be back, since their customer service is piss-poor. You would think they would do more to retain customers, given the current climate and its impact on businesses.
