Mr. & Mrs. Crab - Clearwater — Restaurant in Clearwater

We went there for lunch today about 3 PM with my aunt ordered 1 pound of king crab legs, 1 pound of snow crabs and a half a pound of shrimp and an extra hard boiled egg.. My aunt Ordered a pound of snow, crab legs and a pound of shrimp… I of course, could not finish everything so I took all the shells off the shrimp. I had one very large king crab leg left, which I opened up and just had the two big pieces of meat and I had 3 legs from a snow crab left along with an an ear of corn and 3 potatoes.. The bill came $212. We Paid the bill and waited about 5-10 minutes for The waitress to bring us the leftover food and it turns out she misunderstood us and thought we were completely done like we weren’t bringing home the food that was left over. The waitress did go in the kitchen and come out with a bag which looked to be a small king crab leg, and a few shrimp. I think there might’ve been a potato I don’t know because I was so angry I told my aunt to bring it home to my uncle. The reason I sat there and took the shells off all the shrimp and took the meat out of the king crab was because I didn’t want to deal with that when I decided to eat the leftovers. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. I will never let any restaurant leave with left over food I plan on taking home again, very valuable lesson. I have eaten here at least 10 times in the last year always had a good experience. I’m not exactly sure how it was determined that we were not bringing home the remaining food in the bag. Otherwise I think the food is delicious. I’ve never had a bad experience up until today. I’ve always been happy with the service and the quality...

Came here after a day at the beach with my family. We were ready to eat! I liked how cool and spacious the space is.

For three people, we got half a pound of sausage and 3 pounds of crawfish in their signature sauce. We asked our server for his spice recommendation and he said he liked spice so “hot” is as much as he’ll go. We barely tasted any spicy in our “hot” boil so for Asian spice, I’d recommend “extra hot.” The included potatoes and corn were a nice add. The corn was super sweet!

The seasoning was extremely salty. Thank goodness some potatoes were added. Overall I usually love spice and garlic but the salt overload here was overpowering.

We also got raw oysters of varying sizes and fried oysters which were a nice snack. The cajun fries barely had any spice on them and didn’t taste Cajun, more like regular fries.

For drinks we got the Shipwrecked. It separated pretty quickly though; wish it remained a smoothie longer.

Our server was friendly and checked up on us often. They give out a big spice bottle for every $99 spent so we got two! All in all in terms of food I wouldn’t come back as their boil left much to be desired but it was a decent experience!

One note: There was water spilled on the floor with big puddle and I almost twisted my ankle + slipped and fell. It was left for a while before any sign was put—until I almost fell. They should put a sign as soon as the spill happens because someone else could’ve got...

I really hate to leave this review but this was the worst experience ever especially for the fact I had not eaten all day !!!!! I get to this place and my seafood is completely OVER COOKED !!!!!! first And Formost we had just arrived in town for a retreat, we were so hungry and ready to eat some good ole seafood in clearwater, calamari was not seasoned at all ! I should have known then to leave, but instead I asked for lemons to add flavor, once the food came l was nervous but was ready to eat and so was my wife !!!! omg no taste what so ever !!!!!! nothing had taste and our lobster and snow crab legs were soo00000 mushhhyyyy and they made it over and it was still puréed!!!!!!! the manager tried but the kitchen did NOT DELIVER !!!! we asked for our check to what we did consume !ive eaten at other locations but this one is a N00000000 !!!! 1 out of 10 give them a 0 !!!!!!! lleft hungry and mad as hell $'!!!! they need to close down!!!!!!! cold and over cooked food and servers that don't have any menu knowledge !!!!!! im mad and we still hungry!!!!!! gave me a $5 coupon no I should of gotten the crawfish and shrimp for free for the waste of gas and time thinking I was about to enjoy dinner !!!!MA LEAVE ENOUGH REVIEWS SO YOU ALL CAN FIX YOUR FOOD AND COOKS !!!!!!! food was deplorable!!!!!!!!Worst seafood experience of my entire...
