I'm giving 2 stars because I am not sure if this is entirely Michael's @ Saginaw's fault or not. Yesterday I placed an order online for in store pickup. All my items said they were in stock, and I received a confirmation email. About 30 minutes later I received an email saying my order was cancelled with no explanation. I call the store to see what was going on with my order. The associate asked for my name, put me on hold, came back on the line and said "we couldn't find your item so we cancelled the order" I had purchased multiple items online, so I asked if they were not able to find one or all of my items. Then she says that was for another order... now I get confused because I have already gave her my name once. I was put on hold again only to be told that they never received my order in the store so I need to call customer service to see why it was cancelled.
I call customer service and this is the worst customer service I have spoken to. The lady on the phone had no emotion and was completely monotone. She said she was unable to find my order with the confirmation number I gave her. That's it...nothing else. She said she could file a claim and have a supervisor contact me. This is the second time I have ordered for in store pickup and my order has been cancelled (the first time they were out of stock of everything in my order... even though on their site the items said in stock at this store). I do not have faith in their pickup in store option, I feel like it's unfair to have it as an option if it doesn't work. I didn't want to file a claim with their customer service department, because I just needed some craft supplies. Read moreI came in to purchase an item I seen was available online, I asked an older gentleman who was working near the front where it was located, he rudely brushed me off and stated “we don’t sell that here.” I searched for it online and approached a women who looked like she may be management where the item was she literally sighed and stated it was in “scrapbooking on the wood floors” and disregarded me to continue to do what she was doing. Finally, I asked a blonde women with a nose piercing (after looking again and not finding the item) and she took the time to walk me to the item. I’ve worked retail for multiple years and this is literally one of the worst experiences I’ve had. The employees made me feel so small just for trying to get assistance to find an item and NO, they were NOT busy or I would have definitely took that into consideration. I will NEVER shop at this...
Read moreLove shopping here! Always clean and tidy! The employees are very knowledgeable on the products too which helps me when I'm not so sure what I need for a project! I was moved today to write a review specifically due to how staff handled a customer who must have been having a bad day and decided to take it out on the wonderful employees. They expressed nothing but respect and kindness to this customer even as she started to make it a little personal. They helped her to be on her way with a smile. Hopefully she left the store feeling a little more relaxed due to the kindness they showed her. This customer was honestly starting to ruin my mood as well until the employees were able to bring the outburst to a close. Will be back again and again and again!
