A few good donuts but surprisingly disappointing service.

Some of the donuts are amazing- loved the peanut butter and turtle cheesecake one. Some are a little too sweet, the French toast one included. But still tasty if you like that! The atmosphere is fine, nice vibes and a cute place to sit but not anything spectacular. I was rather disappointed with the service though- the workers were nice and attentive but they were not willing to help me with a rewards issue I had.

I signed up for rewards to get the $5 credit for first time use. I opened the reward to scan it, not realizing my friend has already scanned her’s on our shared order. So I closed mine, and the app assumed I had scanned and used it, saying I had used the reward in Texas (I am in Florida, so clearly a glitch). I showed the manager this issue on the app and explained I had not used the credit and was not in Texas. They seemed incredibly skeptical, like I was trying to scam them or something. They said “there is nothing they can do, this is a corporate issue”. Which I know is not the entire truth- businesses can always do something if they care. But this business does not and had no interest in understanding or assisting with my issue. I’m incredibly dissatisfied with the lack of concern this establishment showed for an issue their company’s product created. Someone who is on a ketogenic diet sometimes feels left out when it comes to delicious treats. Well....look no further. I traveled from Ohio to St. Augustine for a week vacation and saw that Parlor Donuts made keto donuts. I figured, hey I'll give them a try. After 3 years of living a keto lifestyle and not finding anything really better than I make at home, I'll just give it a try for the heck of it. Can't be that great but let's try donuts from Parlor Donuts. HOLY COW....these keto donuts are so moist and delicious with ZERO WEIRD AFTERTASTE. I'd eat these even if I wasn't eating keto or sugar free. AMAZING!!!! Good thing I don't live here because I'd be there often. If you have a Parlor Donut shop in your area...don't walk....RUN!!!
