European Accent — Local services in Saint Charles

I will never shop here again. Caught up in the holiday rush, I purchased a jacket for my daughter. After I got home, I saw it was the wrong size. I called to order the correct size and the man said he would have someone call me the following Monday. This was well before the holiday. No one ever called me back.My daughter tried the jacket on and 2 buttons immediately fell off. One had been sewn through the pocket. She pointed out that it was made in China-- so much for European Accents! Threads were hanging out all over. When I went to return the jacket the woman in the shop wouldn't order one in the right size, wouldn't take the jacket back (with original receipt) in other words we were out of luck. She found a dog hair on it and said she couldn't resell it. This was not an inexpensive jacket, but the plus of supporting local businesses should be great customer service as well as keeping them in business. No customer service here... I do not...

This business is currently one of several suing Saint Charles for restricting Main Street parking during a high foot traffic Christmas festival. One that very likely sees their customer count far higher than it would be normally.

In addition I have heard of shouting matches between the store and those working the festival, and apparently one even required police intervention.

There are far better places to spend your money than one that is suing to keep conditions less safe for you,...
