Erbe Farms — Attraction in Saint Charles

Very neat place! Kind of hidden away but very clean and organized. The owner(?) was very nice and helpful but the real cool thing about him was just how passionate he was about mushrooms! He was very knowledgeable and his enthusiasm alone sold me on picking up some cookies and take and bake pizzas. The cookies were very tasty! I’d been very busy the last few weeks and finally had a chance to throw one on the Blackstone pizza oven about a month later and it was AMAZING. “The Awesome Pizza” is a name an entirely suited for it! The Rosemary/Brie/Mushrooms/Caramelized Onion Jelly melds together into a sweet/savory delight! Excited to try the “BBQ Brisket” next! We got the frozen bbq mushroom “brisket” pizza and it was phenomenal. Both the meat eaters and the vegetarians in the family enjoyed it. The mushroom “brisket” had an almost bacon-like texture and flavor. This has certainly been the best frozen pizzas I’ve ever had, and probably one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in general. Also the owner was very friendly and allowed us to sample the mushroom cookies, which were delicious (to my surprise lol) and tasted somewhat like macadamia nut cookies. I’ll definitely be back here to buy more next time in town!!

THIS PLACE IS A MUST!! we just moved to the area & we were taking a stroll down main street and decided to just pop in to check this place out. Ryan, the owner, is one of the nicest people i’ve ever met and we truly enjoyed learning all things mushrooms! not to mention the food is to die for! if you’re looking for a new unique place to try you will NOT be disappointed. even if you are a mushroom hater, there is something for you I promise.
