Riverside Sweets — Restaurant in Saint Charles

I have been a long time customer of Riverside Sweets. I really can’t put into words how amazing the place is. First off all of the yummy treats are out of this world. Every time I walk in it reminds me of all of my trips to Saint Charles when we were younger. (I am from Wildwood). My mother would say if you guys are good, we can go get something from Riverside after I am done shopping. Whether it was chocolates or ice cream or taffy or one of the many candies my brother and I were always super excited. Now when I walk in the place, it reminds me of my growing up years and I’ve had the joy of sharing the place with my kids. But besides the amazing treats, the staff is absolutely fantastic. They are kind and patient they are always prepared. They greet all customers with a smile. They are always standing there waiting to help you. If you have questions they never make you feel rushed. When I place a big order it is always ready and waiting for me. They always help me carry it out to the car no matter how close or far I am parked. Now that they have online ordering and I live out of state I do do some online orders and everything always arrives in perfect condition and who doesn’t want Chocolate and Fudge to come to their door. In a day and age where Customer Service can be lacking sometimes and there are not as many small businesses it is so wonderful to have a place as awesome as Riverside Sweets. They truly are a gem and the next time you’re in Saint Charles you should definitely take the time to go in. You won’t regret it and if you live in the St. Louis area and you’re not aware of it he place take a day and go over and visit Riverside sweet. It will be well worth your trip. and you’ll enjoy some other wonderful small businesses in the area as well. I have only ever got ice cream here in the past and stopped by for some more on Sunday the 25th of May.

The service is always great and im always welcomed at the door.

The store has alot to look at and so many different options of chocolate covered snacks. From fudge,ice cream,root beer floats,coffee drinks,shakes.

The store is easy to get to and parking can be done on the bring road of public parking off of riverside drive.

I got 2 scoops in a cup and it cost 7.60$ ( cookies and cream and cookie dough)

Both taste really good and the worker had no issue opening up a new thing of cookie dough as it was pretty low when I was there around 7pm.

They have just changed their hours for the summer so they are open until 9pm every night now.

They are a solid stop for some good local ice cream for me.

All of south main street is something to just walk up and down and understand how old some of the buildings are.

From early mornings to later nights there's always some beautiful sights to see when you stop and look around like Ferris Bueller said.

I'm guarantee you can find something in here to enjoy as you wonder around the great streets...

I was an employee here for five years. This shop is owned by good people who work so hard to have low prices that they can sustain, great and quality chocolate from their own secret recipe, and fudge that has real ingredients. The owners and employees have a high-standard for the cleanliness of the shop. The selection of candy is astounding, as well as gifts and ornaments. This place truly shines around the holidays as it feels nostalgic and cozy, but is a great place to visit year round if you have a sweet tooth and are walking around Main.
