Terrible experience at a volleyball tournament! No A/C and hotter than you-know-where inside that place! Completely unacceptable conditions. This place has been turning over ownership, or at least the name of the facility has changed 3 or 4 times over the past few years. Fix the a/c or at least open the garage doors! The even turned off the water fountains! They sure didn't mind charging for the bottled water though! Or selling drinks in multiple locations throughout the venue. Never going back. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been a volleyball dad for many years and I believe this might be the most overcrowded, uncomfortable, and expensive venue I've been to for a tournament. There is very little room for walking, sitting, or even standing. Also, $10 a day to watch a tournament where our clubs are already paying to play there seems silly. And as has been mentioned by others, there's little in the way of climate control in the building.
I appreciate that it's an old steel mill and it isn't going to be perfect, but I think someone needs to rethink the number of courts/teams that they try to...
