Oh man, how do I even begin. This was hands-down one of the best stays I’ve ever had. Nestled in the heart of historic St. Charles, Missouri, this space is a total dream. You’re just steps from Main Street, with its charming cafes, restaurants, boutiques, walking trails, parks, and the beautiful Mississippi River. It’s the perfect blend of small-town charm and peaceful luxury.

The entire project is the work of Suzanne and Chris, and you can feel their vision and care in every inch. They’ve lovingly restored a historic building and turned it into something exceptional — where old-world character meets modern, luxurious living. Gorgeous exposed brick, stunning finishes, rainfall shower, bidet with heated seat and wash/dry, Dyson hairdryer, premium toiletries, and even the kind of soft toilet paper that tells you — no detail was overlooked. It feels like you’re in a 7-star hotel, but somehow still at home.

And let me talk about Suzanne — what an extraordinary human. Truly one of the kindest, most professional, and genuine hosts I’ve ever encountered. Her warmth and attention to detail shine through not just in the space, but in every interaction. She and Chris made us feel so welcomed and cared for — not in an overbearing way, but with that rare, perfect balance of friendliness and respect for your privacy. Communication was always thoughtful, fast, and generous.

Our group loved it so much, we actually extended our stay and moved into another unit just to experience more of what they’ve created — and it was equally amazing. Every space has its own personality but the same unwavering quality. I’d come back just for the bed — pretty sure they consulted a sleep specialist.

Was an absolutely STUNNING bed and breakfast for our whole wedding party to use + room for their partners ! It allowed for such a clean and easy transition from rehearsal dinner and wedding and reception — all the way to the farewell brunch, in which the inn offered a late checkout for us AND a comped night for my new husband and I. Response time was unreasonably FAST — within minutes — for any questions I had during our stay. Amazing hosts, quality, courtyard, location, and rooms! It offered the perfect stay for the perfect weekend and we are beyond excited to use this venue again when looking at trips back to Saint Charles. All of our out of town guests are destined to stay here themselves, as well, when they come to visit ! We just can’t get enough of this place and are so thankful to our amazing hosts! (Side note, they have the DYSON air wraps for their blow dryers?...

We absolutely loved our stay at Le Velo Inn in St. Charles! We stayed in the Swiftwalker Parade Suite, and it was the perfect blend of charm, comfort, and thoughtful design. Every detail in the space was beautifully curated—from the cozy linens to the stylish decor—and it truly felt like a home away from home.

The location couldn't have been better—just steps away from Main Street, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. We enjoyed quiet mornings with coffee on the back Patio with the warmth of the firepit, and loved how easy it was to explore the shops, restaurants, and trails nearby.
