Abel Electronics — Local services in Saint Clair Shores

The staff is very knowledgeable about everything that I've ever asked them regarding Electronics. They carry most everything I've ever looked for from integrated circuits to HDMI adapters even CB radio equipment. They're also very friendly I want brought my seven-year-old daughter to the store and because she was behaving so well they gave her a free chocolate bar!

I typically go to abel to get the things that would otherwise take weeks to get shipped to me from Amazon. You pay a little more money for the convenience, but they are generally quality components.

Pros: for a hobbyist like me, they have all of the components that I'm looking for on hand. The staff is always able to help me with any of my questions. The store is very clean and well-organized.

Cons: the prices for their electrical components are 200 - 300% more expensive been there online competition​.

I would always recommend Abel to anybody with any electrical need. As most Electronics nowadays are becoming smaller and less repairable it's nice to see a store like this is...

Great store!! If you can't find what your looking for here then you ain't going to get it anywhere else other then online. Great knowledgeable staff thats willing to take the time and help you even if you don't purchase anything. Only downside is I go in for one thing and come out with ten other things I didn't plan on buying. Prices are extremely fair considering its a specialty store and can't get a lot of the stuff there anywhere else(that I know of anyways). Very helpful. And probably the only place left in town where you can get parts to fix your own junk. Needed some very specific capacitors to fix a flat screen. Yup, in stock. Prices are fair as well. Some things may seem a bit high but keep in mind, keeping all this crud in stock costs a business a ton of money, and for one thing the sell, 20 go unsold. if you have a problem with paying 3.99 for two capacitors, do yourself a favor and order it from amazon or idiotbay. They seem to carry higher quality stuff anyways, to minimize returns due to early...
