Trax N Wax — Local services in Saint Clair Shores

Huge selection of new and used vinyl and CDs, in addition to other products they mention in their description. Great service as well, worth a visit! I give 4 stars specifically for the used vinyl bargain hunters out there. There's a massive selection (mostly pop/rock, pretty small sections for blues, jazz, soul, rap) and most records look like they're in pretty good shape. Anything recognizable and well-kept is gonna be pricey (especially jazz), but there's plenty of deals and cool finds. If you're West of downtown Detroit, there are several other places I would recommend first for vinyl. It's absolutely worth a stop if you're East of downtown or just near the store, especially considering there aren't many other record stores in the area. If you're a collector on a budget and have some time to spend digging, you'll find a good deal! And if you're not on a budget, it will be a 5 star experience.

It's so cool to finally have a real record store back on the east side! Trax-N-Wax has a hugh selection of music, movies, games, posters, shirts, hats and various collectibles in all shapes, sizes and formats with the lowest prices in town. Plus you can sell back your used items here too!The staff are very personable, friendly and knowledgeable. If you forget the name of a song or group no problem they will quickly identify it with there smart experienced staff.You just can't get that kind of interaction and experience online and if they don't have it in stock they will order it immediately for the same price or less. This store is great for collectors and casual shoppers a like and an awesome place to spend a Saturday. So Trax N Wax is a definite play on a indie record label. That being said they were the second of two stops tonight to check out local record stores. They should have been the first. Let's start off with Fricken huge selection! LPs, CDs videos. Though I wish they had a larger memorabilia selection it's not why I went there( gotta find my concert shirt elsewhere I guess. For those of youbwhobheard of Vinyl Solutions and Vertigo records in GR, Trax N Wax is thier equivalent in Macomb Co.

Super large section of 1$ cds (all look cleaned and buffed) and even bigger selection of new and upper priced used CDs at very affordable prices. Like I said in a another review I'm a CDphile so I didn't dip into the albums.

Doug and his associates are polite and very helpful as I watched them help other customers.
